Yup, and as late as I'm up these days, that probably works for me, if we don't sit up too long at least.

I tentatively would be up for it, but my connection's been dumb again (though nowhere near the abysmal lows of the MMX race) and I am entirely unpracticed on MM4-6.

Would you want to join tonight's run, or wait for the second heat? I think I am going to max these Pentathlons at 5 racers per each one, for screen real estate. Since Umby originally replied first I'd like to save the 5th spot tonight for him, however there will be a free one if he doesn't reply in time or can't make it.

I could do it today, but by all means give Umby dibs.

Are you guys still talking about the MM Pentathlon? Because I still want to try to do the SMB All-Stars Warping Race sometime, if people are still interested in that.

Oh yeah, the All-Stars race is still happening, this weekend. The first heat of the MM Pentathlon is happening tonight though. ^_^

I apologize, I know you're probably very busy at the moment with the pentathlon, but is that race still scheduled for this upcoming Friday?

Are we doing 1, 2, 3? I know it was suggested that we add World but I'm afraid that might add too much time. And also I'm super rusty on World and would have to practice

World isn't terrible as far as time constraints go, but it does have a lot of junk to remember due to the very specific route you have to follow. All things considered, World is actually the game I'm worst at too, so I won't fight it if it's decided that it'd be better left out, but if you pull a run or two before the race and make out the path, it can probably be cleared in about twenty minutes or so including a few slip-ups and deaths.

The thing I keep forgetting about with World is you only have to clear part of Star Road and none of the special world. In my head I keep thinking about levels that are in the special world, but that's not really the case.

Anyhow, depending on when the race will be I'll practice World if it's on the docket. If nothing else I'm confident I can be amusing in failure.

Yes the race this weekend is still on. I was thinking either Saturday or Sunday, because I am swamped with work for my channel (and other things) during the week.

I think Luke, Dadaph and Spoony are still interested. I need to get in touch with Red Silvers and find out if he is still up for it. If you are going to join in McClain that would make six.

So if we hit that six and you still want in Din, I'll sit it out and just put the race together. ^_^

Also right now I have SMB1-3 and SMW on the docket. However that is subject to change if needed.

Damn, Saturday and Sunday I might be pretty booked. I'll see if I can try to squeeze something in one of those days, but even then I'm not sure.

I'm running on mountain time, and might be able to fit something either really early Saturday or Sunday evening (which would probably be a lot later for you guys) but it might just be better if you took the last spot, Narishm.

Is the rule going to be to play the SMB All-Stars + World Rom? I would suggest "yes."

**I do need to test/adjust my recording software since it's been a while since I used it. There's a chance my iffy computer won't like it anymore, in which case I'll let you know ASAP if I can't run for some reason.

Also lets set the time as Sunday Afternoon for the All-Stars race, that way perhaps Din can make it, and I'll get some practice times on Saturday XD.

Yes, the classic NES six. There are some serious twists in this one though, there was one challenge that everyone gave up on and came back to later as a bonus. Think outside the box when you practice, do things you wouldn't normally think of.

I thought Sunday was Allstars+World?

Did we push that to Sunday? I thought it was Saturday, but then I am scatterbrained this week XD.

So yeah, I had temporarily forgotten about the All-Stars Redux! XD That is happening this Sunday Afternoon.

So, if people are so inclined, we could do Heat 2 of the Pentathlon on Satuday, Tuesday, or Thursday. Otherwise we will just do it on the 19th. ^_^
