So I checked this thread for the first time in two months, and imagine what crossed my mind a I worked my way backwards through .gifs of Edward getting the shit kicked out of him, and Blingee edits of Mt Ordeals.

Anyway, Kain *did* say something about Cecil's class change in the Playstation translation, something along the lines of "Hah, nice drag." Oh, Kain. You dick.

It should be obvious why the next update is taking so long.

I still hate that friggin' elf and his stupid cave for jerks. No matter how carefully I equip my party, at least one character gets bogged down.

Actually, having to fight another Dark Elf has given Brick flashbacks to his solo thief run and all those suicidal attempts to get past Astos. The mental trauma has been debilitating, but with his new game therapy regimen he hopes to be able to work through the painful memories and be able to face a dark elf with collapsing in fear.

Well, either that or he'll go postal and slaughter every bard in Troia.

Maybe he's heading off on a suicide mission without asking any musicians for advice, to die for our amusement?

Maybe he's a lazy bum?

Maybe Megaman 10 made him hate all retro and retro-flavoured games, forever.

The many photoshops coming out of this thread need to be collected, printed, and bound into a FF2 art book. I want one for my coffee table.

I know what you guys want next, but It's been years since I've opened up a 3D modeling app so I don't think I'm up to creating Damcyan Musou right now.

Recently, on Final Fantasy II: Cecil's Mysidian Quest

Cecil approached a mirror, and was confronted with a reminder of his grim past that he must overcome.

And bewilderment at how his old Dark Knight reflection tore its own head off for no reason.

I guess Dullahan is the closest one to DK Cecil for editing, though. More...More edits please.

I was going to put the head actually on its body, but then I realized that meant I'd need to sprite the other half of its body where it was carrying the head and/or resize the DKCecil head. And yeah, there is a dearth of human enemies in FFMQ.
I slightly messed up the HP bars, he has 640 rather than 600 like he's supposed to.
All Cecil had to do was wait for it to realize that its head was no longer on its shoulders. Attacking would do nothing to hasten this conclusion. You know you're doing something right when you hear the screaming. (Why the screaming, anyway?)

At some point Cecil is going to discover that he also is Percy and be so traumatized that he will descend into a dream limbo from which only Dom Cobb can save.

It would explain why he unceremoniously dropped his Dark Knight garb in front of a pair of five year-olds and a weak-hearted old man.
