Back in the 90's the only PC in the house was my dad's and he wouldn't let me install or upgrade anything on it. Therefore, the PC is the objectively inferior platform and all who disagree need therapy from Deanna Troi.

We can have nice civil discussions on a lot of volatile topics, like religion and such, but Shivam...

It won't happen with Super Metroid. >:|

I've noticed this tends to be the trend around here actually. The more sensitive and real the topic the more civil things (usually) are. But heaven forfend someone bring up the relative merits of bendy straws verses non bendy ones. =p

I see what you did there Turnip. And do Brickroad LPs even have a topic? Don't pretend like the actual LP is the topic, cause you'd be lying to yourself.

Pfft. They're fine . . . when you're a kid, and can't get your head up to the height of the glass. But us grown-ups know that a straight straw is the way to go. That pure unadulterated avenue from glass to mouth provides the only TRUE drink experience.

You're going to sip this Nestle Quik (I will never call it Nesquick) through a bendy straw and like it or else you're going to get the hell out of my kitchen.

Does the difference between Cecil's and Kain's weapons have anything to do with bendy straws?

I appreciate the option to extend a straw, the better for it to reach my mouth from so far away.

Guys, you're all wrong. The best straws are curly straws.

Paper straws are the best straws because they're so ephemeral.

If we're pushing the definition of straw that far then the clear winner is a funnel. You just can't beat that efficiency.

I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong, but I find that bendy straws often spring leaks around the elbow, and therefore I hate them and anybody who likes them.

Bendy straws mean I don't have to lean over the drink to enjoy it.

This significantly reduces my chances of accidentally drowning while I enjoy a refreshing beverage.

Pshaw. Next you'll tell me that drinking hot coffee through a straw is dangerous or something.
