Yeah, you're right. That's on the moon, huh? Brick should most likely ban me from this thread, now. And then come to my house and take all my Final Fantasy games and redistribute them to more deserving orphans.

Oh Destil... Brickroad's gonna come to your house and take all your everything for not having every last detail of FFII engraved upon your heart.
You should probably start running. |

However, the Change Rod you do find is helpful if you like to grind outside Toroia before tackling Zot (which I do).

I was always a fan of the dancing knife for cheap mage hits for the middle part of the game.

I'm not sure, but I'm about 99.9% sure that the intro is reused in the Tyrano Lair music from Chrono Trigger.

The answer to all these music question is simply that Nobuo loves him some prog rock pipe organ tracks. Which is a win for everybody.

Yeah, basically listen to some Emerson Lake and Palmer and you'll never have to wonder about what Uematsu was up to ever again.

OK, so this LP has gotten me to preorder FFIV Complete Collection....hahahahahaha no. I'm replaying FFIV Advance, and at least for the beginning parts, you can't really notice much of a difference from the SNES version besides the inclusion of Dark (it'll probably become much more apparent when FFIV takes Cecil down a notch).
BTW, when Cecil becomes a Paladin, does he keep his stats from when he was a Dark Knight or does he just start all over? |

I'll get the Complete Collection if it includes some form of Stop 'N Swop. I've only played the GBA version anyway.

Am I the only one that used to see MomBomb's mouth as an incongruous, gender-inappropriate (but luxurious) green mustache?

Probably, but now I can't UNSEE it.

I once ran through the PlayStation version with a GameShark, sending everyone to Level 99 as soon as possible. This led to some fun scenarios like the girl child effortlessly wielding Firaga well before overcoming her fear of Fire, as well as Cecil beating Cain at Fabul. He must have about 65,535 HP, so I don't know how it'd be possible without cheating (or enough soulless grinding to beat FFI with a solo Thief).

Then there was the code that let you access all the dummied-out items. "Why is there an item that does nothing but turn the screen colors and play the Calbrena music?" we asked. Little did we know. |

We don't know either, so now you have to tell us.

Did you ever go through the later parts of the game with Dark Knight Cecil? How was it?
