You know, when I wrote that post I was certain that someone was going to say I should have written Final Fantasy II.

I'm glad to see I wasn't mistaken.

What are you talking about? The next one is X, for the N64.

Nah, the N64 one is going to be a remake of the SNES one.

Sorry, guys. The next one we're getting is Final Fantasy VII. Yeah, for some reason, we didn't get IV, V, or VI (I heard they were too hard for American players). Squaresoft is also putting this one on the Sony PlayStation because the cartridge version would have to retail at around $1,200.

There are three characters known so far: Claude, Bullet, and Ealis.

Looks amazing!

Everybody hacks the party to have a different set of four plot-inappropriate characters all the time and play through the game. Fifth slot goes to anyone who might be required by a boss battle gimmick "Kain, stop her spin!". When that's not required, you get Tellah or a blank, your pick. Oh and any time the party is less than full, you have to pick which of your characters to use and stick with it until the party changes size again.

Unfortunately this would probably require rehacking the save too often to be practical for most people.

Inspired by the GBA version, where I beat the game with both white mages. Constant cures AND White? Win.

My team would definitely have Yang. He's the best.

I would propose a team consisting of Tellah, Edward, child Rydia, Edge, and FuSoYa. It would be dubbed Team Glass Cannon, and the main challenge would be staying alive long enough to actually get to any given boss battle.

Somebody make a GIF of Tellah beating up 4 Edwards.

Also, one of those Edwards needs to be Loli Rydia.

Loli Rydia would be interesting full-game. She wouldn't get most of the summons (the ones you battle to gain probably wouldn't even be added to her spell list) but she'd have all that delicious black and white magic.

Team Paradox: Loli Rydia, Adult Rydia, Dark Knight Cecil, Paladin Cecil.

Sorry, only three here. One must've kicked the bucket, or ran off to hide.

Clearly Tellah has cross-classed to Monk and used his initial JP bonus for Spin Fist.

No - he got that JP from all of the battles he was in with Yang.

It might be a while before Brickroad gets a chance to update again. But you could always take the initiative to do something yourself.

Goddamn Spoony. That was seriously the best post.

Brickroad has been busy schooling mafia, posting video LPs, driving to Atlanta, planning a wedding, and doing your mom*. Cut the kid some slack. He's a busy boy.

*may not actually be your mom.

I think you all misunderstood me. If the LP continues, fine, but the main thing is keeping this alive. Too many amazing things have happened in this thread, and you'll notice nobody posted shit until after I did.

I is a hero!
