In what? There are two things I don't understand about Match's explanation. First, if the festival is for all of northern Electopia, why did Atsuki say that it's his town's festival? Second, who is Match talking to? He's not talking to Lan, and I don't see why he would speak aloud to himself. |

As you might expect, upon leaving Castillo...
At least it's not the oven this time. And also, if the PC is hot enough to start smoking, wouldn't all the internal parts be fried already? Megaman agrees. As you can see, there's a wisp of smoke rising from the PC. And when we jack in: It's clearly another net-fire. Why hasn't anybody installed something against those since the last time it happened? Or the one before that? |

This looks like a job for Aquaman! Except that he's not going to help. *sigh* Megaman agrees. I don't know about you, but those flames don't look like they can be extinguished with a water gun. Lan has the same reaction to the tiny squirt of water that comes out of the water gun. You can barely see it, and I missed the screenshot. Seriously, this happened twice before. Why is there no automatic fire extinguishing system on the net by now? |

Why not use some of your Aqua battlechips? The Wideshots could probably clean up the flames you're standing in front of. Incident starts playing here. Anyway, the answer should be obvious, considering the characters we've met so far. Pretty sure that's supposed to be Higsby's line. |

I smell a minigame coming. It's a very simple minigame. The gauge will rise and lower... And ideally, you want to time it just right and get the full power shot. This will always extinguish all of the flames. There's more to the minigame, but I'll cover that later. Once you get all the flames in ACDC1: |

Lan wonders if they moved to a different area, but Megaman says that they probably called off the fight because the tournament finals are starting. Megaman then jacks out. As we try to enter the castle: Smoke starts rising out of the stand. |

Now, I haven't mentioned it before, but the net is empty for this scenario - at least, the parts involved in it. No civilians or vendors, but no officials either. As you might expect, we now have to go through Park1-3, all the way to the control switch, to finish this scenario. The last thing about the minigame: If you fail to extinguish all of the flames in a cluster at once... It's not too damaging, though. Also, during this scenario, there are almost only fire virii on the net, including someEX versions, and the battles can contain varying amounts of Lava panels - from only a couple to almost the full screen. Fortunately, a wideshot that goes over lava makes it into a normal panel. Fireman uses his arm-flamethrowers to attack, not his head-flame. The flames just pop up around them. |

More flames appear. Technically they were having a netbattle and that's what caused the flames, but since all we see is the taunting I like to think that they trash-talked each other so hard that everthing around them started spontaenously combusting. |

I have to hand it to Lan - that's a brilliant way to solve this situation. Atsuki tells Burnman that they should hurry to the castle for the match. Burnman agrees and jacks out. |

Lan tells him that he had to say it to stop the fight, and that it's true anyway. Match growls. Fireman jacks out, and so does Megaman after seeing that the fire inexplicably vanished. Wait, what? And looking past weird things that Atsuki says, how come Lan's late? I jacked in from the stand outside the castle, and Atsuki has to have been farther away than that. Atsuki tells Lan that he's late, and that he has to beat him to prove that he's the strongest and the hottest. Lan tells him not to be so sure of that. Versus Burnman I despise Burnman. I'm terrible at this fight and I have no idea why. One thing I noticed I do in the video is trying to dodge the burners by going to the first/last rows - I believe the center row is fine before they shoot. Regardless, I'll get my revenge later. And if you're having trouble with this fight, try throwing a couple of Rockcubes into your folder. I'm rather sure that they block the burners. |

Wait wait wait, did we miss something? Wasn't Match dead in a coma arrested at the end of BN3?
And didn't he already ditch Fire Man for Heat Man and Flame Man? Is this just more of BN4 being awful and making no sense? |

I can sympathize with Atsuki. It's not every day that a navi who you thought was deleted goes into a berserker Dark rage and deletes your navi instead. Atsuki asks why Match is watching from such a high place and tells him to come down and fight him. Match refuses, saying that he doesn't feel the need to fight a little boy who could only do that well against Lan (which is pretty funny since Burnman did more damage to me in that fight than Fireman ever did), and tells Atsuki to go practice some more. Atsuki then decides that he'll smash this stupid tournament to pieces and tells Burnman to demolish "all those machines", which is odd considering there's only one around here. Slowly back away... The battle machine explodes. Or not. Well, there are explosions appearing on it, anyway. |

And then Atsuki (and only he) starts burning. He runs in a circle a few times (still burning, it flickers), And runs off. There's one final thing to take care of. The Nebula intervention occurs identically, but this time the navi is not Aquaman. Versus Gutsman DS I like the position they used for Gutsman here. NEXT TIME: Gutsman, Roll and Burnman Omega. |

I can only wonder what the writers were thinking.
"Hey guys, we need to make a scenario for Burnerman." "Well obviously it's got to be about fire." "Why don't we have him set the Net on fire?" "Didn't we do that last game? And wasn't it one of the darker scenarios since, you know, the Net was on fire?" "Let's just recycle it and remove any element of seriousness." Also, I love how at the end everyone just stands around and watches Atsuki burn alive. Great going guys. |

Oh yeah, the planet’s in danger of being destroyed. With all of these tournaments, I completely forgot about that. I wonder where all of these missing question marks are going. Confused, Shilly asks why. Apparently he was standing in a corner drooling while the laser was being made. And knowing this, you still built the gun like that? Shilly notes that if they miss, they’re finished. Regal turns to Yuichiro and asks him to start the laser. Yuichiro agrees that now is the time. Title drop! |
#1398
*twitch* The screen begins to shake, causing Shilly to panic. Yuichiro replies that he can’t. Uh-oh. Shilly begins to cheer, but Yuichiro interrupts him. Incident starts. (Count: 11) The man points out the laser was fired at 200%. First off, typo. Second, how the hell does that work? The only possible way something could lose “80%” of its power in an instant is if the energy was released, and seeing how the laser didn’t just blow up I highly doubt that’s what happened. I have a theory that before BN4 happened, everyone lost about a 100 IQ points. That’s why nobody uses question marks; they’re too stupid to know when to ask questions. |

You’re not fooling anyone Regal. The only way that would make sense is if you had some powerful security in it. And if that security had been destroyed, shouldn’t you have known? Yuichiro asks the others to check every machine in the complex. Meanwhile, he’ll come up with a plan B. I’m pretty sure she meant to say “Dr. Hikari’s plan”. Either that, or she’s blaming Yuichiro for the actions of a third party. We‘re never told just what these guys are talking about. Also, typo. |

A NPC walks over and asks if he’s talking to Megaman. Unless these world Net Battle tournaments happen at set years (like the Olympics), it’d make more sense to say “a world tournament”. This guy is saying that the tournament is called Blue Moon (yes, it's called Red Sun in Red Sun version), not that the tournament is happening because it's a blue moon. I guessed that from it being a world tournament. Before Megaman can say anything, Gutsman and Roll chime in. Lan asks if he’ll have to go to Netopia. |
#1401

Megaman points out that they should get Haruka’s permission first. The NPC decides to leave the details to Lan and Megaman. He then gives them what they‘ll need to get to Netopia. Megaman agrees, then turns to his friends. Megaman jacks out. I think he was supposed to say “So long, everyone!” Megaman was probably supposed to say that last line. Also, there’s a missing “the”. You have to take a plane. I highly doubt Lan could stay so enthusiastic for the entire day it takes to reach Netopia. Megaman recommends that they go to the airport early. I won’t be following his advice. |

First off, some good news.
Yay. Second off, some bullshit. Once you’ve cleared the Hawk/Eagle Tournament, you can jack into this sink. There is nothing hinting that you can do this. Inside was a Fish program, which is useful in that it can guarantee encounters with Aquaman Omega. Yes. Alright, moving on. Now we have a shortcut to Park 1. |

So you guys will take down suspected stalkers, but you won’t help when an evil organization attacks? Look how terrible my starting hand is. I’ll have to get rid of some of my Support chips. Like I said earlier, Woodman doesn’t have any stupid gimmicks. It’s easy for me to beat his Omega form (hell, I could buster run him), and I probably would have done it with no damage if I hadn’t screwed up near the end. So there’s a really funny AI exploit for Videoman. For some odd reason, if you use Blinder… Videoman’s movement pattern will freak out. Usually he just stands in place, but this time he just moved back and forth (I think it was because I used Area Grab). If you have a chip that relies on enemy placement for maximum damage (hint: Air Hockey), this is extremely useful. Videoman’s chip is awesome. |
#1404
If used, Videoman will do his tape spin attack twice. Both of these still hit three times, and if the target is in the middle row they’ll be hit six times. The Airport just takes you to another selection screen. Error alert. Anyways, I hope this trip to Netopia will go better than the last one. Once Lan steps into Netopia, he’ll get an e-mail. Eh, sure. |
#1405

This lets you get past the navi in ACDC 2. There are two statues in Netopia, and Lan can jack into both. The first statue just has a Recover 150 Z, but the second… This honestly isn’t that useful. I still don’t have any Spin Colors, nor do I have anything that fits in my newly expanded Navi Customizer besides a HP +50. And I could already fit that in there, I just forgot to do it. As a side note, the first statue (Goddess Computer) has Holy Panels in its random encounters. In other words, talk to everyone. By the way, unlike BN2, BN4 didn’t bother to explain why Lan can understand everyone in Netopia. This NPC wants you to pay 1000 Z for some chocolate. If you refuse repeatedly, you can drive the price all the way down to 250 Z. |
#1406
Lan says something different depending on how much you spent. At both 1000 and 800 Z: And at 500 Z: I usually pay 800 Z. This is her job after all, and 800 Z isn‘t that bad. If you agree: Wally viruses are annoying. If you stand in their row, they’ll fire a tusk down both their row and the adjacent row. They drop Twin Fang chips, which do the same thing. If you say no: I think he meant to say Electopia. Anyways, you have to say yes to this guy’s prank in order to advance. |
#1407

As I’ve said before, Netopia is pretty much a mix of all the Western countries. But while BN2’s Netopia was primarily American/British, BN4’s focuses on Italy. Eh, why not. I actually don’t think I had a Recover 80 yet, so this is pretty good. I guess it was?! Bonds tells Lan to follow him to Lan’s hotel. Er, that’s the way to the Colosseum. |

A car screeches past. For some reason, Lan decides to comment on it. Improper usage of “to”, check. Lan sighs that he knows. The car, completely violating driving laws, goes in reverse at the same speed Lan was shocked at and stops in front of Lan. The driver should count his blessings that nobody was behind him.
