I can be pretty evil when I'm not the one who's going to suffer for it.
I'd 100% do this as long as I could play the NES version instead. I love FF3.

That'd be pretty...grind heavy. Especially in the NES one where those jobs had absolutely no functionality instead of limited functionality.

YOU ALREADY AGREED TO IT NO TAKEBACKS

Or ya know, do DQ3. But if you do DQ3 you have to use a goof-off in your party.

I always use a goof off, though.

It may be surprising to note, but I actually think I know FF3 in and out better than I do DQ3. Regardless, I'm not doing anything until I'm done with all MGS4 has to offer.

I was thinking we should use some variety, or maybe change at every crystal. I want to make it interesting, not impossible.

I've never done a solo run of DQ3, but that means less interesting party decisions. And Goof Offs are awesome.

I did that when playing through the game and it was pretty fun - it certainly made me think about which jobs would work together, at least.

Then again, I only played the DS version, so take this with a grain of salt?

Right, so, after getting an idea in a dream, I've decided to drop Fallout and propose a playthrough of Pokemon Emerald.

I have plans. Awesome plans.

I hope no one minds if I claim Bahamut Lagoon for myself. It's a fun, little game that needs the recognition.

DO IT. Also because I always get bored halfway and never finish it.

I'd like to tentatively call Okage: Shadow King. Kinda depends on getting PS2 stuff to work on my PC...

Don't forget to do your roster-updating duties, Reel. ;p

Also, maybe seperate Finished and Ongoing?

I dunno, I kinda like having them together - keeping the links together chronologically by starting date seems more natural to me, since I tend to add them as they're created.

On another note, someone here should do a Mario is Missing LP. That would be mega-boss.

That game is really repetitive, though. What jokes can you crack about Luigi doing his history homework in Paris that you didn't already crack about him doing the same thing in London?

I was just thinking this the other night oddly enough.

If a dam were to burst, and FFLegend 2 updates were to spew forth, should they be diverted to a new thread in this subforum or allowed to empty into the original thread, which is now no longer in the proper subforum?

(Holy shit, it's 7 AM and I haven't gone to bed yet...)

Man, Mario Is Missing is one game I know back to front, thanks to obsessing over it as a kid. Sadly I only had the Mac version and find the SNES one really unwieldy, so I don't really have the resources to do an LP on it.

I remember having to endure a hospital stay some years ago. But it wasn't so bad, because they had an SNES!...

...and the only game available was Mario is Missing.

This is why I support Child's Play.

Now that I think about it, the PC version of Mario Is Missing was probably the first video game I ever played with real voice acting and "cut scenes." At the time, the novelty of it was enough to distract me from the fact that I was enjoying edutainment.

I've started on my next Lets Play. More accurately, I've decided to use a different, (seemingly) better emulater and thought of a few horrible puns and chapter headings I want to use.

That's half the battle right there.

I'll most likely post once the current log dies somewhat.

Edutainment isn't bad by nature... There's stuff to be enjoyed out there. Most notably The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis, which beats out a lot of regular games in terms of funnitude.

I never understood the Mario is Missing hate. For a kid, that game was fantastic. You get to eat cactus things, throw fireballs at koopas, and hit Bowser after exposing his comedic underwear. Plus I found the other stuff really interesting as a kid.
...Was I a boring child?
