Okay. I'm switching Dipper's AI from Save Fading Life to Fight For Life and his reaction from Hamedo to Blade Grasp. Meanwhile, I'm switching Mabel's AI from Run Like A Rabbit to Save Fading Life, replacing her Flare spell with Frog, ditching Magic Attack UP in favor of Equip Shields, and replacing her P Bag with an Escutcheon II.

Hm. That was a bit more involved than I thought it'd be.

I focused Rolfe's punch arts a bit.

Switched around "Cheesiest"s Raise and Cure spells because derp, I forgot how the spells would be too slow to match her speed.

You have two units with Jump.

Fly is a strict upgrade for Ignore Height.

Your lancer can still use a shield with his fist (without two swords you don't get a second unarmed attack) so give him an Escutcheon II or a Venetian Shield (there's very little elemental damage in the current tourney that isn't earth or holy right now).

You need to pick what you can throw. Knight Swords only is generally the best option with Chaos Blades in the format.

Finally a pair of recommendations (these are subjective): Ignore Height/Fly isn't that good for a jumper (because you're generally going to be far enough away that it doesn't matter), I'd suggest Move +3 instead to get in range sooner.

Reflect isn't very useful because nearly everything that can be reflected is going to be mathskilled out so you'll likely get more mileage out of a Maximillian on your lancer.

FYI: This is not an actual ability that exists in the game. Steal Accessory yes. Icewolf Bite yes. Break Accessory no.

Barette is the one that stops Petrify.

Because of the odd number of players, we needed to have a runoff to see who would enter the first round. What better way to start things off than to match up our top seed to the latecomer?

That's right, our first matchup is Gerad vs. reinoe. The battlefield for the first round is going to be Rooftop of Riovanes. I neglected to mention it in the video, but you can tell from looking at some of the pixels.

I guess I wasn't paying attention enough to realize names don't have to be from the in-game list. Swap mine to Ralph and Venellope if possible.

was a joke. Apparently Draw out is actually not subject to P-Evade or M-Evade. Oh well. I realized from the beginning that the odds were against me. Still, it looks like I put up a decent fight against the reigning champ.

Any chance we can see the rest of the bracket?

That is ridiculous. Wow. I did not expect to see Cersei smack someone with a Wizard Rod and punch someone in the same fight, nor Jaime casting all sorts of nonsense.

You put up a good fight, reinoe! I thought you had a good chance at the start with all those CT5 Holys.

It's too bad we don't have a Brickroad stall team this time. There could be a 6-hour match.

I definitely have some changes in mind for when I lose!

Usually, the most broken defense options are off the table (MP Switch+Move-MP up, Chantage, Math Skill+Cure/Raise/Holy). I expect a lot of the battles in this tournament will take a long time with those available.

The matches aren't predetermined, so I don't have a full bracket. Next up is PrivateJoker vs. Jikkuryuu.

Remember, you get a one-time opportunity to adjust your team upon entering the losers' bracket.

You could just randomize the whole thing right now and post it.

Wow, that was pretty awesome to see. The fact that Batman and Robin are battling their enemies on a rooftop makes it all the better.

@Mod Robin is supposed to have Venetian Shield, not Escuteon II. They are functionally the same, when you take Abandon and his Feather Mantle into account, which is why I wanted to cover the elemental bases with a Venetian Shield. Just in case.

Escutcheon is perfect M-Ev to Venetian's 50% (after Abandon). I'll change it all the same.

I thought it was a little weird that Grade5 never used her Math Skill.
