Of course that wouldn't have been necessary if any of his #$@&%*!ing 70-something chance Revives had actually worked! Also, I'm thinking maybe I should rename all of my team to Final Fantasy 4 characters since they're so willing to nobly sacrifice themselves. Speaking of 15 mintues or so but Mogri did something to speed up the battles. Maybe you should do the same. |

Yikes. That was some serious friendly fire.

Wow, that was amazing.
My personal theory on how the long game would have resolved: the "enemy" team has unlimited potions and the player team has 99. But if they were both unlimited, it would likely have come down to the Monk leveling up enough to win. They both gained a couple levels during that match already, which is the only reason SING survived that shot at the end. Rotten luck for both teams! |

Edit: And Move HP-Up. Edit2: Also, speaking of rotten luck I just counted and there were 5 failed Revives in that battle. I think the RNG was punishing me for when Link dodged/blocked that spell. Last edited by Torzelbaum; 01-28-2018 at 08:48 PM. |

I don't remember what I was going for with my team.
This will be fun! |

Wow.
1) Low Faith units are a problem. 2) Fire 4 may also be a problem. Good match. IIRC this is double elimination and I have a chance to change my setup now? |

A few swings in luck there at the start of the match. Regulus if you have any changes to make please let me know! next match is myself vs Solitayre; I'll try to get that done today as well. |

Berserk was not working as intended there.
Does PrivateJoker still exist? It'd be funny if he won the tournament in absentia. |

While this has been the subject of debate for decades, for the purposes of this tournament I'm prettty sure Zelda is supposed to be a girl.

Ha. I didn't know you could do that.
In any case I look forward to my sixth consecutive loss in the next video! I'd probably think I was bad at this if my one victory wasn't the best thing on the internet. |

I think that was about the worst team to try to use that strategy against.

Yeah Joker's team is pretty much all about physical damage. Berserk doesn't do much against him.

Geomancy ftw
Not that it ended up mattering but it looks like my team was not updated. My ninja is not supposed to have Sunken State anymore, dancer's HP is too low and she spent the whole battle doing nothing instead of dancing... You'd have definitely won that if not for the lucky Petrify proc early on. |

The funny thing there is that the Monk was all ready to pull out a win. Just needed the Oracle to run out of Mp. He'd have his work cut out for him making it to the Dancer, though.
How about that 4% double proc, huh? |

The oracle has MoveMPUp and the Geomancer had Chakra. She'd never run out. It was just a matter of time until Carve Model landed again.

Exciting matches!
Yeah, haha. It may have helped if the Geo or Monk had been targetted, but that Two-Swords Knight... oof. |

Everybody must get stoned.
I thought duplicate accessories was against the rules but I double-checked and currently it is not. But I think maybe it should be. Yes, that would nerf part of Destil's strategy but it would also nerf the counter-strategy of everyone else equipping all of their team with Rubber Shoes. I doubt it'll come to that. I don't see Destil's team becoming dominant simply because he's solved the redirection problem. Competitive, sure. But this is another Wiznaibus situation. Let's see it break the format before we preemptively ban it.

I'm already in the elimination bracket, for now it's only a problem if I make it to the finals (and if the other team does that in repose my offense is pretty pathetic).
