Yeah, there's nothing saying you have to contribute cards. If the crisis is targeting something that doesn't matter much you can just let it slide and tackle something like tribbles in the grain bins or whatever.

And Rai: That's true, he can only draw one card next time! But we burn up none now on an almost certainly doomed skill check (15 is a high threshold for two players, as I have no cards in hand to help). And since you two seem to be coordinating a Super Crisis play it would be folly to throw cards at a Crisis we don't need to pass. So take your Cylon whisperings and begone!

Boomer, are you confirming you're tanking the check along with the others?

Cards are in!

Send Survey Team

Check of 15, Purple, Red, and Blue (Tac, Pil, Eng)

Eng - Repair 2

Negative
Lea - Executive Order 1

2 - 1 = 1, a Fail! Saul Tigh finds out about Baltar's inquest, steals a Raptor, and flies it into the President's Office. -1 Raptor, and Baltar wakes up in Sick Bay.

Raiders Activate, and Jump Prep moves one closer to endgame.

I'll probably use Caprica, but I'll wait to see if my fellow comrade in metal arms has anything in particular he wants. It's not like the other areas are especially useful at the moment.

And, if the humans aren't willing to risk pop, we'll get around to another round of Cylon actions as well. This is going to be an interesting five rounds.

Captain Apollo,

I recommend you look for high numbers in Leadership and Politics.

I too can't think of anything better than Caprica and while all resources are pretty low, targeting Morale might work out well.

In that case, my cards are Leadership and Poli, and I'll activate Caprica.

Also, as good as targeting Morale will be, we also need to drop their population by at least one if we don't want these humans jumping out on us prematurely. They're rude like that.

Crisis Step

Apollo had to make plans within plans, plots within plots to end up where he is. Could he have done it all alone, or did he have help? Or is he just leaving enough clues behind to implicate someone from beyond the "grave"?

Guilt by Collusion

Check of 9, Green and Purple (Lea and Tac)

Pass: Current player may send a character to the Brig.
Fail: -1 morale

Activate Raiders
Jump Prep: Yes

Contribution Order
Destiny: 2 cards, is refilled, which forces Tactics to be refilled.
Chief: 0 cards
Boomer: 0
Helo: 0 cards
Baltar: 0
Apollo: 1 card

Chief, either way this lands, we move closer to our goal. Feel free to not throw cards in for this one.

Well yeah, this is pretty awesome.

Chief will contribute no cards.

EDIT: And I have a suggestion for who to send if it passes, but I'll wait to see if that happens first.

Boomer, this would be a good time for your OPG. I don't think we stand a chance if one of us is in the brig, and we probably don't want to lose more morale.

So if we pass the skill check, Apollo gets to send someone to the brig? Damned if we do, damned if we don't

Boomer's OPG just lets her choose if it passes or fails, not the result. Apollo may still throw one of you into the Brig if she picks Pass, and you will still lose 1 morale if you pick Fail.

Frak, forgot about that.

Let's tank the check, then. Better 1 Morale down than one of us in the brig.

Oh hey, quick note: I'm out of town Sunday through Thursday (DISNEYLAND), so if we don't finish this by Sunday morning or so it'll probably have to hang for a bit! SRY

I held up the end of your TI3 game, so I guess this is payback! 3 whole days at Disneyland, though (assuming 2 for travel)? I know you've got the kid, but what will you do for the other 2 days once you've seen everything? I suggest it's a small world on loop.

Small World is closed! That's good! But so is Pirates of the Caribbean. That's bad.

Anyway, we'll be taking her to both parks (only open 10-8 the days we're going), and meeting some family down there. And she's gonna nap. It's going to go fast, even with three days there.

Apollo throws a card in there, despite the humans' reluctance to contribute.

Check of 9, Green and Purple (Lea and Tac)

Positive
Lea - Executive Order 2
Lea - Executive Order 1

Tac - Launch Scout 1

4 - 0 = 4, a Fail! Morale drops faster than Baltar's pants. Someone stays out of the Brig, though.
