We are doin' this skill check, people. Everyone think of a good reason for me to have been in the Press Room!

You decided to give up to the Cylons, clearly.
One tiny card added in, since the president can do nothing. |

You're jealous of President Baltar's good looks and everyone should strive to be as intelligent as him.

Four cards in. And since we know Baltar has zero, that's everyone.

Ugh, these are both terrible. And they've gotta be, if this one seems like the better choice:
Desolate Moon Lose 3 fuel Distance 3 |

The fleet has made it to the Kobol Sector, and they need to make one more jump to survive and win the game! Note they don't actually need to go anywhere, they just need to complete the jump without dropping a resource down to 0. FTL Control losses will still count.

Surrender to the Cylons like President Baltar is supposed to do?

Well, can you raise our morale or find us some food, or something? I don't think you've played a Quorum card yet.
Otherwise, I'd suggest you go card fishing at one of the spaces that let you do that. We need everything we can muster. Or you could launch a Scout and head off the next Crisis if it's a really bad one. |

With the cameras all trained on him and with the broadcast hopefully reaching the Cylons, Baltar pulls out a pair of drumsticks and drops them on the ground.

Your "enthusiasm", or "reality distortion field" is on overdrive. We're playing with a d8, so please reroll using those parameters.

Query: Am I allowed to make a suggestion of what skill cards my fellow Cylon draws?
If so, I suggest Apollo wait at the beginning of his turn for some advice. |

I would allow it. It's no different than the Humans recommending someone Launch Scouts or Repair stuff.
Crisis Step Mr. President, we're receiving some "interesting" chatter, mostly regarding the XO's missing wife and her extramarital escapades. Should we send someone to investigate, maybe send her to your office? We've heard how you like to give "hands on" support in special instances... Send Survey Team Check of 15, Purple, Red, and Blue (Tac, Pil, Eng) Current Player Chooses: Pass: No Effect, Fail: Current player is sent to Sickbay and destroy 1 raptor OR Roll a die, on a 5 or less -1 fuel Activate Raiders Jump Prep: Yes Baltar, what will your Crisis Draw be? And your decision? Contribution Order Destiny: 2 cards Apollo: 0 cards Chief: 0 cards Boomer: 0 cards Helo: 0 cards Baltar: 0 cards Last edited by John; 11-03-2011 at 06:04 PM. |

Tactics card.
So what do the humans think? I really don't know how much help I can be with this skill check. |

Take the first option. Sickbay hurts a bit, but we can afford a Raptor much more than a fuel after that last jump. We are on the edge in every resource right now.

I'm all for taking suggestions. If you have the super crisis I think you have, then I'm more than willing to help.

Skill Check is open for service! Will Ellen Tigh find her way back to the fleet, and Baltar's bunk?

You know, you humans are going to have to hit a high mark to pass this.
I'm not going to help, I don't think. Zero cards thrown in. |

Sadly, I too will have to decline to put any cards into this skill challenge.
Enjoy yourselves, humans! |

I don't think it's worth trying to pass this one — better to lose the Raptor, let Baltar play "doctor" in sickbay and save our cards for the next crisis. Resources are the priority — and Boomer, you've still got that OPG power in reserve, right?

I don't know that you necessarily want that though. I mean, don't you only draw one card when you get out of Sickbay?
I imagine that'll be quite the detriment after a number of crisis events! But that could just be me. |
