The "Admiral! We just finished debriefing Starbuck" part threw me off and thought if was for Sarc. My bad, y'all.
A sports team isn't needed when you have a brilliant person like me as President. Tell them we're sorry as we're blasting away into FTL! |

Morale drops as Starbuck starts planning to assassinate the President. -1 Morale.
Raiders Activate! The four at Aft chase Apollo to Port-Aft, and the four at Port-Bow fire on the unmanned vipers. 2, a miss. 8, one Destroyed Viper! Apollo plays an Evasive Maneuver - 1, and we reroll. 5, a hit. Apollo plays another Evasive Maneuver - 1. 4, a miss. 3, a miss. 1, a miss. Both vipers fend off the Raider Attacks, with Apollo barking orders from next door. Jump Prep moves to -1. Apollo, you're still one card over the hand limit, so you lose one random card. Remove one Pil - Evasive Maneuvers 2. |

I'm thinking FTL, to be honest. Can anyone help with the roll?

Frack yeah I can. I'll lay a Strategic Planning - 3 down. Let's go to the sleeper, and may the gods have mercy.

All right! Let's FTL this sucker!

Chief heads to FTL Control, pushing Boomer out of the way. "I can do this, just get the hell out of my way, you fracking machine!"
Apollo cheers from the sidelines, giving Chief a +2 to Intelligence. Chief rolls a 5+2=7, a pass! No ships are lost, and the board is cleared. Destinations are being sent to the Admiral. Sleeper Phase coming up! New Loyalty Cards will be arriving in your Inboxes once the Admiral decides where you're going. |

Well, with two of us about to certainly turn eeeeeevillllllll our resources will certainly be at a premium. We're full up on Raptors, so I think it's worth the risk to try for a bit of extra fuel.
Tylium Planet Distance 1 Lose 1 fuel. The Admiral may risk 1 raptor to roll a die. If 3 or higher, gain 2 fuel. Otherwise, destroy 1 raptor. Let's risk that Raptor. Anyone else have a Strategic Planning to play before I make the roll? It's a guaranteed pass with one, but a high chance even without. |

Also I want to say that I am loving this. I think I'd probably own this game already if there were any chance I'd ever be able to play it. (My wife loathes the mechanically-similar Shadows over Camelot.) |

It's also possible that President Baltar has both of them now. If either of those cases is true, then they give their excess cards to another player when they reveal, so we'll still have two cylons.

Actually, a revealed Cylon has to use the Resurrection Ship to pass on extra Loyalty Cards — it's voluntary. But yeah, it'd be more accurate to say both Cylon cards will soon be in play.

It's possible for any player to have both Cylon cards. To dish the other card(s) to other players, they have to use the Resurrection Ship Cylon Location. If distance is 7 or less, they can give away their other Loyalty Cards to another player.
The giving away loyalties when they reveal is a Pegasus Expansion rule, so we'll save that for Game 2. |

I believe I have a Strategic Planning card to play! But I won't use it. Because I hate Admiral Pretty Face.
Oh, all right, I'll use Strategic Planning - 4. |

Awesome. I roll a 5, +2 is a 7, so we have a net gain of 1 fuel.

That makes it an auto-pass! Galactica gains a Fuel, and Loyalty Cards are being sent out. Boomer gets thrown in the brig for not getting out of Chief's way fast enough.
Character Locations and Current Hand Size Destiny Deck: 2 cards Boomer: Brig, 6 cards Admiral Helo: Command, 0 cards, 1 Nuke President Baltar: Research Lab, 9 cards, 2 Quorum Cards Apollo: Hanger Deck, 9 cards Chief: FTL Control, 11 cards Board Status Galactica: 6/6, all better Colonial One: Rocking Civilian Ships: 12/12, 0 in play Raptors: 4 Vipers: 8/8 (0 in play, 6 in reserves, 2 damaged, 0 destroyed) Resource Dials: Fuel, Food, Morale, Population: 7, 6, 8, 9 Jump Prep: [start] [X] [X] [-3] [-1] [auto] Boarding Party: nonexistent Distance: 4 Ship locations Bow of Galactica: Clear Port-Bow: Clear Port-Aft: Clear Aft: Clear Starboard-Aft: Clear Starboard-Bow: Clear |

All Loyalty cards are away.
I swear guys and girl, I didn't stack the deck. I was wondering if Chief was going to wait a turn to jump out, and then this wouldn't have happened. Them's the breaks. Crisis Step Surrounded Cylon Attack 1. Activate Basestars. 2. Setup: Bow: 4 raiders, Starboard-Bow: basestar, Starboard-Aft: 3 raiders, 1 heavy, Aft: 1 civvy, Port-Aft: 1 civvy, 1 viper, Port-Bow: 1 civvy, 1 viper. 3. Special rule: Panic: the current player must discard 3 skill cards. Well, at least step 3 is a wash, because Chief has to discard 3 cards to his hand limit anyway. I'll get pics of the board later tonight. Apollo, would you like to jump out into one of the vipers? |

On the plus side, that's One fewer of these cards to deal with.
So yeah, I'll jump into the right most Viper and go to the right, I guess. |

Turn 26, Boomer (in Brig)
Character Locations and Current Hand Size Destiny Deck: 2 cards Boomer: Brig, 11 cards Admiral Helo: Command, 0 cards, 1 Nuke President Baltar: Research Lab, 9 cards, 2 Quorum Cards Apollo: Aft (in Viper), 9 cards Chief: FTL Control, 8 cards Board Status Galactica: 6/6, all better Colonial One: Rocking Civilian Ships: 12/12, 0 in play Raptors: 4 Vipers: 8/8 (0 in play, 6 in reserves, 2 damaged, 0 destroyed) Resource Dials: Fuel, Food, Morale, Population: 7, 6, 8, 9 Jump Prep: [start] [X] [X] [-3] [-1] [auto] Boarding Party: nonexistent Distance: 4 Ship locations Bow of Galactica: 4 Raiders, 1 Manned Viper (Apollo) Port-Bow: 1 Civvy, 1 Viper Port-Aft: 1 Civvy, Aft: 1 Civvy, 1 Manned Viper (Apollo) Starboard-Aft: 3 Raiders, 1 Heavy Starboard-Bow: Basestar Boomer, your options in the Brig are limited. You can activate the location to try to get out of the Brig, which is a Skill Check of 7, Politics and Tactics. You can use any card from your hand that says Action:, and you may use any actions that are on your Character Sheet. You may only contribute 1 card to any skill check, so if you want out you have to convince everyone else that you bleed red and not motor oil. Last edited by John; 10-04-2011 at 08:54 AM. |

Why was Boomer thrown into the Brig? Did I miss an action or something?

It's part of her character sheet. She is a "Sleeper Agent" no matter if she is a Cylon or not. She gets 2 Loyalty Cards and is moved to the Brig upon Sleeper Phase.

Yes, for the one or two person(s) that are Cylons, refer to the Revealing as Cylon rules in the First Post. Note that any benefit you may get on your way out is negated if you kill yourself in the Brig.

BTW disregard the viper placement in the pics above, I have a hard time with right and left sometimes. The unmanned viper is by the left launch tube, and Apollo is in the Aft.

Well, I'll use this turn to protest that I'm not a Cylon.
Bring on the next crisis so I can prove it with a skill check. |

Boomer starts a hunger strike, in hopes of proving her worth.
Crisis Step Hey Admiral, now that you know there are cylon(s) in the midst, would you like to find out who they are? It's easy enough, but the President does need some parts... Build Cylon Detector Admiral Chooses Discard 1 nuke token. If you do not have any nuke tokens, you may not choose this option. OR -1 morale, and the Admiral discards 2 Skill Cards. Activate Heavy Raiders Jump Prep: no Note that this doesn't actually let you build a cylon detector, since it was never proven to work reliably. It's just a way for Gina/Six to get a nuke. This is the only Crisis Card I can think of that explicitly says you need a resource to choose an option. Option 2 is still viable even though the Admiral doesn't have 2 skill cards to discard. |

Give up our last nuke for no gain? No way. Let's take that morale hit. We're doing fine there. I discard all zero of my cards.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I thought the Crisis Step was skipped on turns for players who are in the Brig location? Or does the "cannot draw Crisis Cards" part apply to Boomer's special ability and scouting and I've been playing it wrong this entire time? I don't have access to my rulebooks or FAQ at the moment and don't know if I want to bother going to FFG's site to redownload them just for this clarification...
