It's a base game thing, too. Check the Resurrection Ship space. Pegasus changes that space's wording, turns into into a restricted space and makes the card transfer ability into a free-floating rule.

Ah, you're right! And a Cylon can only have one Super Crisis card at a time, instead of hoarding them like in Pegasus. Since it's on the board as an action, let's keep that rule.

Boomer changes her contribution to one card.
Positive Check of 13, Tac & Eng Tac - Launch Scout 2 Tac - Strategic Planning 3 Eng - Scientific Research 3 Eng - Scientific Research 3 Eng - Scientific Research 5 Negative Lea - Executive Order 1 Lea - Executive Order 1 16 - 2 = 14, a Pass! Boomer stays in FTL and turns off the final firewall. 3 raiders are launched from the Basestar, and Jump Prep stays. |

Turn 22, Admiral Helo
Character Locations and Current Hand Size Destiny Deck: 2 cards Quorum Hand: 2 cards Boomer: FTL Control, 6 cards Admiral Helo: Sickbay, 4 cards President Baltar: Research Lab, 4 cards Apollo: Aft (in viper), 9 cards Chief: Armory, 6 cards Board Status Galactica: 6/6, all better Colonial One: Rocking Civilian Ships: 12/12, 3 in play Raptors: 4 Vipers: 8/8 (2 in play, 4 in reserves, 2 damaged, 0 destroyed) Resource Dials: Fuel, Food, Morale, Population: 6, 7, 9, 9 Jump Prep: [start] [X] [X] [-3] [-1] [auto] Boarding Party: nonexistent Distance: 3 Ship locations Bow of Galactica: 4 Raiders Port-Bow: Civvy Port-Aft: 1 Unmanned Viper, Civvy Aft: Basestar, 7 Raiders, 1 Manned Viper (Apollo) Starboard-Aft: Civvy Starboard-Bow: Clear Admiral, what would you like your Sickbay draw to be? |

Hit me with a Tactics card.

First off, I'll move on over to Weapons Control so I can follow up on what I'm about to do if someone XOs me later.
Second: Let's nuke that Basestar! Playing Tac - Strategic Planning 3 to add 2 to the die result. Roll-dice-online.com gives me a 5, +2 makes it a 7, killing the Basestar and three of the Raiders with it. The eight Raiders remaining are a lot to deal with, especially with the penalty, but still — this should give us some breathing room. Admiral Helo is watchin' out for you. Just like shootin' womp rats back in Beggar's Canyon!
Basestar and 3 of its spawn are sent back where they came from. One Nuke goes back to the tackle box. Crisis Step Admiral, you've had suspicions that some of your crew may be working for the other side. Now's your chance! A Traitor Accused Check of 8, Yellow and Green (Pol, Lea) Current Player Chooses: Pass: No Effect, Fail: Current player chooses a character to send to the brig OR Current player discards 5 skill cards Raiders Activate Jump Prep: Yes Admiral, will you discard your hand, or attempt to send someone to the Brig? I've only got two cards, only one can help, I don't suspect anyone enough to brig them and it would probably cost more cards than two to defeat this, so I'll take the second option and ditch my hand:
Lea - Declare Emergency 3 Pil - Maximum Firepower 3 That makes me pretty much useless until next time around unless I'm XO'd. But hey, I just blew up a bunch of Cylons. I'm gonna go down to the Cylon holding cell and interrogate our prisoner. Be back in a couple hours. |

The cylon virus got farther than expected, and infiltrated Helo's spreadsheet. He actually had another Lea - Declare Emergency 3, but since he had already showed you what he had he decided to eat it and keep with option 2.
Raiders Activate! The four in the Bow move to the Port Bow to munch on some humans, and the four in the rear take pot shots at Apollo: 4, 1, 4, 2, all misses. What moves! Jump prep moves up one, and you're one step away from FTL Control being activated. |

Turn 23, President Baltar
Character Locations and Current Hand Size Destiny Deck: 2 cards Quorum Hand: 2 cards Boomer: FTL Control, 6 cards Admiral Helo: Weapons Control, 0 cards President Baltar: Research Lab, 8 cards Apollo: Aft (in viper), 9 cards Chief: Armory, 6 cards Board Status Galactica: 6/6, all better Colonial One: Rocking Civilian Ships: 12/12, 3 in play Raptors: 4 Vipers: 8/8 (2 in play, 4 in reserves, 2 damaged, 0 destroyed) Resource Dials: Fuel, Food, Morale, Population: 6, 7, 9, 9 Jump Prep: [start] [X] [X] [-3] [-1] [auto] Boarding Party: nonexistent Distance: 3 Ship locations Bow of Galactica: Clear Port-Bow: Civvy, 4 Raiders Port-Aft: 1 Unmanned Viper, Civvy Aft: 4 Raiders, 1 Manned Viper (Apollo) Starboard-Aft: Civvy Starboard-Bow: Clear HEY GUYS I screwed up, and forgot to send Boomer her Recon draw last time. She would have been able to say yea or nay to the traitor beatings. I would like to send her the current Crisis card to make up for it, but I want you to weigh in on it first. After that matter is settled, Mr. President, tell me where to move your standee on the cardboard and what theoretical action you would like to take. Last edited by John; 09-30-2011 at 08:09 AM. |

I've got no problem with it.
Baltar's going to stay at the research lab and draw a tactics card. |

Tactics card sent, and Boomer says keep the Crisis on top.
Crisis Step Are we seeing double, or do we have another Water Shortage President Chooses -1 food, OR The President discards 2 Skill Cards and Current Player discards 3 Basestars Attack Jump Prep: Yes If this looks familiar, it should. There are 4 Water Shortage and 4 Food Shortage Crisis Cards in the base game. The Water Shortage at least has different Cylon and Jump Prep icons, but the Food Shortage ones are all the same. Lazy. Baltar, what will your Crisis Draw be? And what would you like to do? Last edited by John; 09-30-2011 at 11:02 AM. |

Baltar pretends to capitulate to the screaming overfull masses, and dumps an entire crate of lembas out an airlock. -1 Food.
Basestars would've attacked, but it was nuked but good. Jump Prep does move up one, and you are at -3 to Jump! FTL is open. |

Turn 24, Apollo
Character Locations and Current Hand Size Destiny Deck: 2 cards Quorum Hand: 2 cards Boomer: FTL Control, 6 cards Admiral Helo: Weapons Control, 0 cards President Baltar: Research Lab, 10 cards Apollo: Aft (in viper), 14 cards Chief: Armory, 6 cards Board Status Galactica: 6/6, all better Colonial One: Rocking Civilian Ships: 12/12, 3 in play Raptors: 4 Vipers: 8/8 (2 in play, 4 in reserves, 2 damaged, 0 destroyed) Resource Dials: Fuel, Food, Morale, Population: 6, 6, 9, 9 Jump Prep: [start] [X] [X] [-3] [-1] [auto] Boarding Party: nonexistent Distance: 3 Ship locations Bow of Galactica: Clear Port-Bow: Civvy, 4 Raiders Port-Aft: 1 Unmanned Viper, Civvy Aft: 4 Raiders, 1 Manned Viper (Apollo) Starboard-Aft: Civvy Starboard-Bow: Clear Apollo, name your split draws, then move/action! |

Oops, too late. I was going to ask how many cards sraymonds are in his hand, because for the second option he's President AND current player.

He had 10 cards at the end, started with 8 and drew 2 over the turn.

One and one. And then I'm going to move one space left (to the civvy ship), and Executive Order - 2 Helo. You may want to launch a couple unmanned Vipers to defend the unprotected Ship.
|
#411
|
|||
|
|||
Which space left do you mean? You have civvies equidistant. The raiders will move clockwise on activation.
|
#412
|
|||
|
|||
Hmm, I would have preferred he ditch 5 rather than space some of our food, but I was a few minutes slow! Ah, well.
Rai, that's a way better idea than using the guns. I should have moved to Command last time so I could do this twice. Anyway: I'll move to Command and launch two unmanned Vipers from the left launch tube. |
#413
|
|||
|
|||
So we do! I've been getting lazy with my board, it seems. I'll move clockwise, in that case.

The Admiral covers the civvy fleet!
Crisis Step Admiral! We just finished debriefing Starbuck (and cleaning the goo from that hijacked Raider off of her). She has news about Caprica! Apparently their Pyramid team is still alive! We've been starved for entertainment around here, maybe this would lift spirits? Rescue Caprica Survivors President Chooses -1 fuel, -1 food, +1 population OR -1 morale Activate Raiders Jump Prep: Yes Baltar, where should the fleet direct their interests? Given that our food and fuel are getting a little low, I'd rather leave Anders and his crew to die on Caprica and deal with a case of the sorry-we-couldn't-helps than lose more of them for the sake of boosting our Human Resources department.
On the other hand, people are the one thing they ain't makin' more of right now, so I shouldn't be the only one to weigh in on this. |

I wouldn't necessarily worry so much about at least one of those resources after this jump, but morale's much easier to raise. Who needs some stupid sports.
