I'm pretty sure he was lamenting the fact that he hasn't had 4 skill cards in a while, since every check this round has targeted him. Such are the downsides of Presidential Duty, you can't just bury your head in drink and hookers (this season).

You can indeed!

Boomer, if the Crisis has a jump icon I'd suggest leaving it on top (unless it is super terrible).

Well, should we save a Crisis and risk the jump (with reroll action, of course, and if anyone has Strategic Planning ...)?
President, do you have any Quorum Cards worth playing if I XO you? Boomer, could you do something? I don't have many useful moves to make my own self. |

We can handle this crisis. And I don't have a Strategic Planning.
There's not a lot that I can do that's helpful. Maybe repair something? |

Only the Armory is out, and honestly I have no fear of a boarding party at this point, so I think we can leave it broke. Let's see what Baltar's got. If nothing else, I can draw a card to round out my hand or something.

Baltar can't really do much with the Quorum cards he's got. I don't think. My card sheet is at my work computer.
Can I fly to Colonial One if I don't have any cards to discard? |
#748

Quorum hand sent.
Here's the rulebook: "If he moves to a different ship, he must discard one Skill Card from his hand." (my emphasis) I take that to mean you have to have a card to move between ships. Here's the quote on Choice Crises: "When a player makes a choice on a Crisis Card, he can always choose the top or bottom section of the card, regardless of whether he will be able to fulfill the game text listed (unless the card specifically restricts this)." So, on Crisis Cards, and transitively when a player is forced to discard, the option can still be picked with an empty Skill Card hand. Discarding to move between ships, or activating a location with Roslin would require cards in hand. |

All right, I'll fish for cards then. Discarding Pil - Evasive Maneuvers 2 to move to the Press Room and draw 2 Politics cards.
