OP updated. As always if I missed something please let me know.

AND a thank you to everyone who does an LP here on TT. I don't read all of them but I do try and keep and eye on all of them, and as an LPer myself I know the time and effort that these things take and I just wanted to make sure that it is appreciated.

I would like to do a group LP of Cthulhu Wars. I'll post it up as soon as I get the stuff together for it.

I'm thinking about doing an LP of Long Live the Queen. I'm going to see if I can get the preliminary stuff put together tonight, but it may be a week or so to really get rolling.

I'm still out of town, and will be for a while, but things are settling down enough that I should be able to get back to my STO series on a more regular basis soon.

That said, I've been wanting to try to have a few more projects that work better around just my own schedules, so they shouldn't be quite as affected by things like have happened to me. Stuff that works easier with just me commenting, and I can feel more comfortable doing so.

So, as a starter on that, I want to show off Titans of Steel: Warring Suns, a commercial remake of a freeware attempt to bring the Battletech board game to the PC. Titans of Steel doesn't actually have any sort of campaign or story mode, and is instead just an engine to let the player manage a team of mech pilots and their machines in custom made battles. It even allows you to make teams and have the AI run the battles for you. As such, I'd like to try to run what would be basically a league, where you, the readers and viewers, submit teams and I'll make a season around it all.

My question, though, is whether there would be enough interest from folks to support a decently sized league. Is there any interest in this kind of thing?

A few friends of mine from another community are interested in making teams as well, so I think I'll have enough to make things interesting. Of course, if other people want to throw their hat in as well, all the better! More teams makes for a more interesting league, after all.

I have some more planning and testing to do first, so I'll hopefully have the thread up with submission details soonish.

Maybe try one update before you give up. My impression as a casual observer was that the tile-bashing was all in fun. I think folks are really interested in seeing the lp.

I agree. I haven't commented in the thread but I have been reading what's been in there so far and want to see more. I'm not good at most rogue-likes but I like to enjoy them vicariously through LPs. So I really would like to see you continue.

im like a month late here but

I'd totally like to see a nethack lp, especially since the current ones here have non-functioning images, as far as I can tell.

The Angband lp seems to have this problem too. Is there any way to get these images back or are they lost forever?

It depends on how/where they hosted those images, and whether they have local backups saved. With my LPs, I never save local copies of screenshots or videos, mostly because I don't really have the local HD space to actually do so.

Default LINKED TO THE START POINT OF THE ACTIVE GAMES, MARKED COMPLETED ONES.

I CLAIM THE FOLLOWING:

Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo COMPLETED
Freddi Fish and The Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds COMPLETED
Spy Fox in Dry Cereal COMPLETED
Pajama Sam No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside
Putt-Putt and Pep's Dog on a Stick
Freddi Fish and Luther's Maze Madness
Spy Fox in Cheese Chase
Pajama Sam's Lost and Found

YEAH THAT'S RIGHT! YOU MOTHERFUCKERS THOUGHT I WAS JOKING!

And I'm gonna put em ALL IN ONE THREAD?!
WHY?

BECAUSE I'M A GODDAMN MAVERICK, THAT'S WHY!

Also because they're all really short edutainment games and I've already done all the recording for 2 of them. I figure the others will fall into place pretty easily as well.

Yo Should I just make a new thread for Caliscrub's and I's return to STREETS OF RAGE?

Because you know.

We did that.

Yo false, in my endevor to make your life easier, and because I'm guessing you would rather not have just "8 Humongous games" on the LP list at the front of this thread I made you some links.

Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo - BEAT

Freddi Fish and The Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds - BEAT

Spy Fox in Dry Cereal - BEAT

Pajama Sam No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside - BEAT

You can just hit Quote or edit with your mighty mod powers, copy those lines and paste em into the front page completed list, because they're DONE SON.

The other 4 games in the promised 8 are all oldschool arcade knockoff things that go on forever. I made a quick video for each of them but I don't really think they all need distinct links on the LP list. I haven't actually posted the last one yet because YT is being a jackass and taking forever to process them, but the posts is already written and ready to go.

I'm still not sure why I do this crazy thing.

I can say from experience that at least one of them does not go on forever. Dog on a Stick only has 100 levels.

Yes, I remember beating every single one of them as a kid.
