So, I've been wanting to do a light and easy LP for a while, whilst I get things ready for the next project I want to do. And since I have either technical or personal problems with the things I've got claims on, please put me down in a February slot for Star Trek Online.

I was planning to record it eventually anyway. Might as well do it in an LP environment!

Hey, Falselogic. DUNGEONMEN: Men of Dungeons is turning out to be significantly larger than I had originally anticipated. How much trouble would it be for you to split it into its own thread?

PapillonReel had to split out a Fire Emblem LP from the microgames thread once, so it definitely can be done. If you're having troubles, I'd suggest you consult with him.

From what I remember, there should be an option to move selected posts to a new thread in the moderator control panel. The earliest post moved over will act as a first post on its own, so all you'll need to do is give it a title and it'll do the rest for you.

That's pretty cool, but you probably want to fix the title, since the game is about a group of hearty DUNGEONMEN and not a singular DUNGEONMAN.

Mogri tried to change it then I tried to change it. You'll just have to deal with an improperly titled LP. I am truly sorry.

Can't you move all the posts to a DIFFERENT new thread with a fixed title?

Since it lists Mogri as the thread starter, can't he edit the first post to bring up the title editor?

I want to do something like my Mario is Missing LP with maps and info and stuff, but I find the realistic America map to be kind of weird to play on, I've never actually been able to get all the way to declaring independence using that map. But if we use a map I make in the game I won't have stuff to link so I'm worried about burning out and not getting any comments like how my SimLife LP ended (although to be fair a lot of the burnout was due to my computer dying and refusing to take screenshots most of the time).

I'm thinking of doing an easy mode fast playthrough on the America map which is a structured way of introducing the game, and if there's still interest (both audience and me) then moving to a map we make in the game. Would people have any interest in that?

Oh, and it would be the 90s version on a Mac if that matters.
Would it be easier to do it with the Colonization version that used the Civ4 engine? Might that fix the map issues?

An educational version would be awesome and I'd totally follow it. I love early American history and messing with it is even more fun!

EDIT - I went ahead and reserved the game for you.

Default My next LP's

Can I technically reserve two games? I want to reserve both Riveria The Promised Land and Yggdra Union. I will do them both in one thread covering the GBA Department Heaven games.

I haven't played and don't own that version, so I'd be reluctant to do that.

I'll look into it more seriously in the next few weeks, the map could easily be better than I remember, or I could come up with a better idea.

But thank you for reserving it, I definitely want to do it one way or another!

I want to jump into this. I would like to do Advance Wars starting in March, hopefully to follow up with Advance Wars 2 if all goes well. If you all think it would be good for me to do a micro LP first, I was thinking about doing I Have 1 Day, though I probably wouldn't get to it until closer to the end of the month.

Sound good, mafia champ?

There is no requirement to do a micro LP and it's pretty much a free for all in there anyway...
I'll reserve AW1 and 2 for you and get you a spot in March.

Welcome aboard!

In the last week or so two new unauthorized threads have popped up. I assume the people who posted them didn't know we have rules here. So, messages have been sent and the initial post has been updated.

Just a reminder that this subforum is curated and so before you create a thread you need to clear it through me. Thanks.

OK so my family is moving soon and the computer I use for emulation and the like is a desktop. I'll try to get the LP done before my family leaves but if I don't...may I have Dusk on hiatus?
