Well I wouldn't mind seeing it continue, mostly because I'm pretty much incapable of enjoying FF9 any other way. But also because it's fun to see you TF2 up the game.

I do! But only if you want to keep going with it. I can wait if you'd rather do Breath of Fire III sooner.

I swear this is going to be a thing once I stop beating myself up for not having started it yet. LPs are a great way to get this weird kind of guilt spiral going let me tell you guys. I even got my test Eve to the Womb last night before getting KICKED OUT OF THE BOSS ROOM wasting a my Book of Belial charge and the boss was Death. -_-
Here's my idea. I'm gonna claim another December spot and if I keep being useless and it comes down to one spot open and I haven't started it yet revoke the claimed spot since herp derp I'm a moron sometimes. Christ I better do something soon or I'm gonna look like a Lilfoot sock puppet. Last edited by Serephine; 12-08-2011 at 12:50 PM. |

It would be cool if we had a finished Breath of Fire II LP before the Breath of Fire III one.

As far as I'm aware, Breath of Fire 2 and 3 have very little to do with each other, aside from PC character designs being recycled and isometric-ized for the Xenogears-style sprites-on-3D environment format. Like, in the first hour, you could spy Bo and Mogu from BoF1, Rand and Sten from BoF2...and that's just off the top of my head.
I'll keep plugging away at FFIX. I'm glad SOMEBODY appreciates the TF2 spin. |

Also Tir you better do this right since even though its entirely my own damn fault for being a slackass motherfucker good god Tef come on I had it in my head at the start of BOF2 that I wanted to hit all the not Dragon Quarter games eventually. |

I've been planning to get the ball rolling on my annual LP action, but I'm pretty undecided on what game to pick!
The most appealing option to me is to do a double-feature LP of two short SNES action games based on cartoons, one of which being Buster Busts Loose and the other being... well, I don't know yet! If there are any suggestions you can toss my way, I'd really appreciate it! So far I am considering these, but I'd rather do an LP of a good game: Animaniacs (terrible!) Mickey Mania (terrible!) Cold Shadow (decent!) Quackshot (good!) Bonkers (???) |

I've been talking with Phantasia Knights, and he's agreed that he's probably not going to get back to Secret of Mana. He offered it up to me, but of course I have Final Fantasy X International going right now. So our proposed solution is pretty simple: I put a claim in on reviving the Secret of Mana LP after FFX Int is done. That's not how this sort of thing is generally handled, but we figured we'd throw the idea out there and see if that's okay.

Mainly because it's come to my attention that someone else may have been wanting to do it, and as I know Sky personally, i'd prefer if it was taken over by someone I know first.
I think my main problem is I was driven crazy by my rampant perfectionism when writing anything. As anyone who read it saw, I switched styles several times in just the first few updates, but unable to solidify a style, I eventually buckled under the attempt to find something that both I and readers would like. I'm not even sure to be honest if I ever really attracted a strong readership, though i've been told that at least a few were into it. Really I don't know if i'll be able to try the LP thing again or not due to my OCD. Also, though I do hang around here a lot, I haven't tended to post except for Sky Render's updates. I'm a pretty shy person about such things. That lack of posting may have been why I never really established myself as an LPer here either. |

I was actually considering playing through the game in Japanese, since I've played it often enough that I know what I need to do. (Also since, as with most Woolsey translations, connotations are lost in the US release.)

Sorry about reserving games pretty much non-stop lately! I'd like to reserve Wizardry V: Heart of the Maelstrom, if that's all right. In all likelihood when it comes to play The Dark Spire or similar, I'll choose between that and Wizardry V, and drop the other, but if anyone wants either (unlikely), I'm open to talk!

Speaking of reserving, I'd like to reserve Digimon World 3.

In that case, put me up for a January slot on Digimon World 3 (I was going to start it around then anyway, but wasn't sure how long the test play would take; At the current pace, I can beat the game in a week without taking screenshots, so by January I should be all fresh and not-burned-out). |

Hell yeah, dude, I played that shit all the time as a kid. I almost beat it, too, which is kind of amazing since young me was really terrible at video games. Plus I remember the freakin' great battle music.

*searches thread* Oh, you're talking about the December slot right? Oops. Sure, go right ahead - we've got four openings and a drought of interest so any LPs at this point would be dandy. Quote:

I'm going to go ahead and reserve the Super Solver series of games:
Treasure Cove! Super Solvers: Spellbound! Super Solvers: Gizmos & Gadgets! Treasure MathStorm! Operation Neptune Super Solvers: OutNumbered! Super Solvers: Treasure Mountain Super Solvers: Challenge of the Ancient Empires! Super Solvers: Midnight Rescue! Might not do all of them but I might! EDIT: Also willing to share and do a group or buddy LP of these. |

Ugh, I totally forgot about my November claim on Legacy of Goku. I don't think I can do it this month, too...too much stuffs going on.
Hm, put me on the January slot then. Or February, if that's filled up. Count me in as another one interested. I really loved the first DW game, and although I like DW3 much less, it should still be a fun LP. |
