DX, or original version you can break over your knee?

How do you break the original version? I thought DX was more broken, if anything, with the red/blue tunic.

EDIT: Actually, maybe Yimothy should be the one to answer that in his LP!

The colored tunics can trivialize the game, but only the original can be truly broken, in the "left weeping in a corner" sense of the word.

Original, because it's the one I had as a kid, but I don't know that I'll be breaking it too much, because I haven't played it since I was a kid.

Just don't push SPOILERS while you are SPOILERING SPOILERS or you might get stuck in a SPOILER instead of breaking the game.

Winter didn't actually officially state that he was giving up his LP of Shin Megami Tensei 1, did he? He hasn't posted on the forum in almost two years.
If it's allowable, I'd like to do an LP of that game.

the claims thing is toast. So, Winters lost the claim when that went away. You want it it's yours!

So... would Brickroad's "LPs to save Talking Time" be a thread? He is doing them for like the next 20 months now.

Either way, he's doing a video LP of Final Fantasy now.

Well, isn't that a kick in the pants. I disappear for a month or two, and the forum relocates on me. Looks like I've got a lot of table of contents updates to be making to my various LPs now... And I suppose I really should get back to Chrono Trigger, huh? Not like me to put an LP off so long. I blame Kerbal Space Program being so awesome. Anyway, I'm back.

EDIT: What is this I don't even... All of my LPs have their ToC's up to date already? Falselogic, you must've worked some pretty impressive voodoo to pull that off! Well then, I'm out of excuses not to work on CT.

Yeah. I ran into some real-life bottlenecks, but now I have the time available to do so. Hopefully the update will be later today or early tomorrow.

Brickroad is doing that right now, so you might want to wait, or find some way to make yours unique. I know Brick doesn't do his LPs through TT, but most of us here watch his stuff on youtube.

He's also played the game before, unlike Brick.

I certainly didn't intend to muck up Brick's show. I searched the list in this topic, the board, and even kept an eye out for that one "Brickroad's video LPs" thread (giving up after not seeing it on the first couple pages). I'm hoping the screenshot format and the readers' role in what route I take will help distinguish it. I'm optimistic that both can peacefully coexist.

You didn't. Ignore McClain. Brickroad didn't make a claim here and what he does on his youtube is his business and doesn't have anything to do with the LPs here besides sharing some portion of the audience.

And Beta Metroid, I for one am perfectly happy to see an LP of a good game done by someone who actually knows it, so I too encourage you to keep on trucking with Demon's Crest.

I'm going to switch gears and do a non-narrative LP of an action game for a couple of weeks: Put me down for the game boy game Kid Dracula, hopefully starting on Monday.

I watched the Game Center CX episode of that game. Totally weird.
