Speaking of queues: I'd like to take a slot this month to run a Guessing Time thread.
Speaking of test posts: Quote:
Also, if the feeling is that this would be better suited to meatspace, I can take it in there instead. |

So I'm not board-worthy? :P (Yeah, I only post here and occasionally in the Video Games board, I am not surprised that I'm not included in that avatar collection.)

Sorry man! I mostly picked up the avatars by going through a few threads in the pit of flames and a couple mafia games, so it's pretty random. A few I sought out deliberately (myself, Brick, Parish, Percy etc.), and I added an extra two rows today (mostly people who'd commented on it in the festivus thread) but it's just luck of the draw.

I really love this kind of game, but being in different timezone and limited time to post would be a problem I guess

It's time to think about my traditional big summer LP. Hmm, how about we put in a nice reserve for Final Fantasy VIII? Yes, that would look good there.

Revisiting ideas to get more eyeballs on the TT LP forum. I was planning to make a quick plug video this week so my YT subscribers would catch my guest appearances in McDohl's Roguecraft series and my FF2 LP. I might be able to grab some more eyeballs if I plugged some of or other top-tier LPs as well. If you guys had to pick, say, five LPs done on Talking Time to be both exceedingly excellent and well-represented of our little forum culture, which would you pick? Or is this a thing I shouldn't do? Correct Answer = 1) Princess Tomato, 2) Princess Tomato, 3) Princess Tomato, 4) Princess Tomato, 5) Princess Tomato. |

I went through the last dozen or so pages and here's what stood up:
* Mogri's 7th Saga LP. * Elements' EVO LP * Kalir and Eternal Darkness also: pretty much any OctoPrime stuff and Falsie's QFG LPs |

Do you mean what stood out? Because if you actually mean that everything else doesn't stand up, then ouch.

And yet for whatever reason my LP of that crappy Pokemon Shiny Gold hack still gets the most new page views. That hack was so bad.

Eddie's Final Fantasy Tactics LP. I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet.

Anyway, I was going to say Brick's FF2, but then I saw it was Brick who was asking, so that's probably already covered, sooooo... I'm gonna have to give a shout out to Yimothy's Wonder Boy LPs and their amazing GIFs. If you're more focused on the TT culture, then Clash at Demonhead and Princess Tomato are obvious picks. |

In the meantime, I would like a February slot for Star Stealing Prince, please. Last edited by Albatoss; 01-08-2013 at 09:11 PM. |

There are still two openings for this month! Did you make a New Year's Resolution to do an awesome LP?
Now is the perfect time to do it! |

Sweet!
For LP recommendations, one that I don't think has been mentioned yet is Loki's Daymare Town micro LP. It's pretty neat! |

I've been tossing around the idea of Let's Playing Colonization (keeping with my somewhat educational games theme), but I'm unsure of how to structure it and wanted to see what people think.
I want to do something like my Mario is Missing LP with maps and info and stuff, but I find the realistic America map to be kind of weird to play on, I've never actually been able to get all the way to declaring independence using that map. But if we use a map I make in the game I won't have stuff to link so I'm worried about burning out and not getting any comments like how my SimLife LP ended (although to be fair a lot of the burnout was due to my computer dying and refusing to take screenshots most of the time). I'm thinking of doing an easy mode fast playthrough on the America map which is a structured way of introducing the game, and if there's still interest (both audience and me) then moving to a map we make in the game. Would people have any interest in that? Oh, and it would be the 90s version on a Mac if that matters. |
