I think they covered it earlier in the thread, it lets you choose things like spells and weapons on the party-building screen.

Next he will write, run and solo play a pen & paper FF1 RPG.

You could take an army of people playing in parallel to speed up the process.

So I guess we can conclude that BlBelt tried to suplex the Phantom Train, broke his back, and was forced to watch as the train ran over the rest of the party.

After he calls up every hobby store/nerd shop in the state asking for a d256 and a d49.

Holy crap, Eddie. Way to show me up in my own LP.
So anyway I'm pretty much this massive fuck-up, and it's become clear I won't get these last two updates done before December, when I'm slated to start my new MYSTERY LP. See, I had this great idea where I was like, dude! There are two other awesome oldschool RPGs I know inside and out! So when I finish FF1 I'll let the peanut gallery pick which one they want next! But since I was supposed to have finished this months ago, that ended up not happening, and now December is here and I look like a 'tard. Sorry. Here's the new plan! Step one: You guys go ahead and pick my next LP, from the two options below, and that will get started probably right around Christmas. Step two: I get this behemoth finally finished within the first/second week of December. Step three: CHRISTMAS JOY. Here are the options: Pros:
Cons:
or... Pros:
Cons:
So that's the choice you have on your hands, Talking Time. With any luck I'll get caught up on NaNoWriMo and see you back here with some big, exciting updates by 12/2. And I kind of have to stick to this now, because Deptford knows where I live. |

No matter who you pick, I win!
But I like DQ4 more then FF4... so that. |

Profoundly disagree with the above, but hey, people are entitled to their opinions. However wrong they may be.
Tough decision to make, but my vote is for FF2. I enjoyed your 13 Weeks of FF, particularly the FF2 segments, so an entire LP of that sort of thing sounds swell. Though with how awesome Dragon Warrior IV is, I won't feel too bad if my choice winds up losing. |

I think it'd be fun to see the NES version of DQ4. It may be a great game, but I started and stopped playing it twice because of its eye-searing visuals.

I vote FF4, so we can have #2, 4, 6, and 9 running come January :P

FF4! Because DQ4 is the worst in the series! Really, the worst.

The one about dragons and warriors, because I already played FF4 and didn't really like it that much!

I'm gonna say FFII, just because I'm more interested in seeing you break a game I know well over your knee.
However, Ted Woolsey did not work on FFII, so you must have a different idea of what a Woolseyism is than the rest of us. |

I'm interested in DQ4, but I love FF2. Anytime a Super Nintendo-era FF game is an option, I will take it.

Yeah, I'm gonna' go with FF II U.S.
I plan on playing through DQ IV in the near future, and don't want to have to avoid the LP in the meantime. / Also, I want to see FF II U.S. broken, branded, and bridled. |

Here's another vote for FFII. DQ4 is still in recent memory with the DS release and I've been hankering for some FFII anyways.

I'm torn. I'd like to see DW4, because I'm curious about the NES version. All I really know about it is the last battle.
On the other hand, FF4 is my favorite in the series. |

Wait, are you actually thinking about playing the SNES version of FF4(2)? Isn't the localization on that one terrible to the point of incomprehensibility? Like, dragons attacking with bracelets bad?
I pick that one. |
#1136
|

I'll vote for FFII, even though there better be a FFIII right around the corner, I swear.
So who is going to get lynched today? |
#1137
|
|||
|
|||
Oh, man. Both of these games are great.
I'd lean towards DWIV. FFII US is pretty much the most perfectly paced RPG ever conceved, I'm more intrested in seeing where and how Brick grinds in a game that (sometimes) requires it. Maybe it'll open my eyes like the original Final Fantasy LP. And anyone who dislikes the accents is indeed a philistine. I never really got how the overworld graphics in DQIV seem to be worse than those in DQIII, but they totally are. |

I vote Dragon Quest, because even though I love FFIIUS to bits, I'd rather see something I haven't played a dozen times already.
If FFIIUS does win, though, you're forbidden from using Warp after the Calbrena battle. I want to see endless battles against TrapDoors |

FFII! It is one of my favorites.
