Line of sight isn't blocked by open doors, characters, or most furniture.
Loki, are you not using your last point of movement, then? |

2d6 → [1,5] = (6)
6 spaces would put Roku right on top of the Dwarf, so he'll have to only take 5 moves and stop at G-19. Last edited by SladeForrester; 11-07-2012 at 09:56 PM. |

I told you I'm saving it for later. (that is to say, no I never intended to enter, and I'm not going to change that now even though it would help. Sorry if I was unclear)

To speed things along (and because I rolled a 4 for movement), Guts is going to move to D10 and listen for any monsters beyond the door*, hoping to kick it down next turn and MURDERIZE any nerds inside the following turn.
*understanding that this is not a thing you can do in this game. But I'm not opening that door yet. |

OK OK OK. Apparently Slade is some sort of time-travelling jerkwad, able to post moves in the past after I remind him it's his turn.
On ORC TURN, both orcs move to ambush pointy-ears. 3d6.hits(4) → [3,1,3] = (0) 3d6.hits(4) → [5,4,6] = (3) The first orc misses completely, but the second lands a critical hit! Syl can roll 2d6.hits(5) to mitigate up to two points of that damage. It is time for Frupladlusfidrotus again. |

I USE MY AXE!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is to say, I pop the bloke in front of me with my sword. 2d6.hits(4)=0 I didn't hit anything. How is that even possible!? I'ma move out of the way and let Roku have a shot. 2d6=6 to I-19. |

I used to play this game with my cousin whenever I had the opportunity. I think was more into it than she was.
I didn't see it last time I was at my parents' house so I'm afraid my mom may have trashed. I've long since given up hope for the expansions. |

It is Elf's turn, by the way.
ANNOUNCEMENT TIME: Gonna be out with limited Internet from Tuesday to Sunday of next week. The game will be on hiatus then. |

After failing to whack an orc, I'm just gonna sit tight. :I

Once again preempting my turn a bit...
I'm going to bust open the door in front of me. If there are any monsters inside, I'm going to fight them. Fight them so hard*. If there are no monsters inside, I'm going to move to A12 (I have 9 movement) and bust that door open and see if there are monsters inside. I'll decide on movement and an attack roll after I see what I might be up against. *numbers and strength depending, given how awesome my compatriots are doing at attacking two orcs. |

The orc fails to defend.
ZARGON TURN The surviving orc is enraged! He moves to H-18 and attacks Roku. 3d6.hits(4) → [1,6,1] = (1) GUTS TURN Guts opens the door and comes upon a grisly visage: an orc and a goblin standing in front of a well-used torture rack! Will Guts be their next victim? No. The mechanics of this game do not have support for torture. The goblin is essentially a tiny orc. Like the orc, the goblin comes in a variety of weapon-flavors. Someone painted them for you. Guts, tell us how you would like to kill dudes. Roku, roll 2d6.hits(5) for defense. Frupladlusfidrotus, pretend to be useful even though you can't hit the orc from where you're standing. |

I guess I'll just stand here and pick my teeth.

Successful defense!
Can we voluntarily change our turn order or belay action until someone else moves, so that the Dwarf can get a move after I get out of the way? |

I move next to the orc (B13?) AND GUTS HIM: I think that insta-gibs the orc. I tear into his throat with my teeth, and then turn calmly and spit his jugular at the goblin, and then proceed to pee on the orc in VICTORY. I then proceed to casually stand there and see if the Goblin does anything (defense roll: 0). |

While the game is going to be on hiatus for a few days, does anyone have any other favorite board game stories or experiences they would like share?
I remember playing Hero Quest with a few of my cousins at X-Mas one year, we set up the board on a pool table with the pockets blocked off and rolled dice down the table like craps =) |

While not a board game I am still borrowing my friends Myth Game.
I like it, but no one really wants to play like I said my family is pretty unsophisticated. |

And a possible lovetap later, Sylvis moves to H15. If the foe is dead, Sylvis searches for treasure.

I don't believe you can attack and search on the same turn.
My turn will depend on the results of Sylvis's attack. |

Oh dang and snaps! The orc defends.
Don't worry. Roku will rescue you. Probably. Maybe. Lest we forget, here's how everyone looks today: Guts 8 Body, 2 Mind Chroyikis Dadreechinthleeblifus Frupladlusfidrotus 7 Body, 3 Mind Sylvis 4/6 Body, 4 Mind Roku 4 Body, 6 Mind |
