Who's turn is it?
#362
Top of the turn order with Guts. He's rolled movement, but hasn't done anything else.
#363
There's no room in that room! Ugh, we can't move on top of that.. sarcophagi?... can we?
Might be best to just park myself by the door, let one of the monsters get a free shot, and back up two so the rest of us can pound the monsters into meat one by one. |
#364
We could all move out of their range if possible and let them spread themselves out in the room (if they do that). That would accomplish the same meat-pounding without allowing them a free hit.

I WANT HIT THING end the capsban for god sakes why are we still doing this
#366
Better hope Roku doesn't roll snake-eyes, then.
#367
I like this plan, do I need to wait for other movement rolls before making my own?
#368
Which plan? My plan involves me standing in the doorway, getting attacked by one creature (probably the super mummy), taking a swing back, and retreating to where you stand. Moving otherwise would potentially leave you open to be killed.
#369
I can cast my movement spell on wiz-man if necessary. It seems unlikely we'll need it later.
Eddie's plan would be OK too. |
#372
It's in the queue for later then.
#373
Oh, but he can smell it.
#374
It sounds like everyone is mostly on board with my plan, so I'll stay where I am (and eat a blow, probably from the superguy), and give Wizman a chance to take a 5ft step back.
#375
To clarify, the supermummy is the one you just defeated, or he should have been. This one is just a mummy, much like the one you just beat.
#376
Whatever man. All I want to know is which of those chumps wants some.
#377

Quote:
The regular mummy was a super mummy? |
#378
Mogri forgot to read the monster details for the quest when setting up that encounter to begin with, and thus missed the fact that the mummy in that room was in fact a super-monster. He's being nice and not making you fight a super-mummy here instead. I think that's rather nice of him, actually.
#379
So if I only need to take a single step back, then a roll is irrelevant, so let's get this show on the road and draw the undead into the murderbox! Go Team Go!
#380
Is everyone ready for Team Corpse Rot, then?
The mummy shambles up to Guts and brutally mummies him. (You may be wondering how, exactly, an unarmed mummy is the most powerful melee combatant you've encountered so far. The answer is HEY WHAT IS THAT THING BEHIND YOU) However, Guts's rocky skin prevents the damage. |
#381
Guts gibs the Mummy (he's got prior experience killing mothers now) and steps back two squares (to H3), allowing the skeletons to come to the slaughter one at a time.
#382
It's Loki's turn.
I'm unclear on where Roku is: it seems like he moved to H-3 last turn, and if that's the case, then Guts will need to revise his position, but it's not a huge deal -- it's just preventing me from rendering an accurate map for now.. Skeletons at J-2 and J-4, Frupladlusfidrotus at I-4, wall in the way. I think that covers the important information. |
#383
The idea was to create a chokepoint where a monster would face down our three brave heroes (+ a wizard behind); the alternative is waiting to see if GUTS can kill all the monsters one by one, which didn't sound very interesting.
#384
I guess I just stand around for a turn waiting for the dopes to move out.
#385
If you do that, then they'll potentially have an opportunity to attack MURDERSTORM.
Teamwork! |
#386
I can probably run far enough to get out of range unless I crap out on movement. I'm OK risking it. If Loki locks in staying still I'll go ahead and roll.
Or Eddie can just stay in the door and we can do things the boring safe way. |
#387
Well whatever guys. Either go in and attack a skeleton, follow my plan and risk a hit for the chance at dice fighting, or sit back and let Red Ranger (I am Red Ranger) deal with it.
#389
Because of all of the monster blood you're covered with, right?
#390
I was at G-3, so once all the moves are confirmed I'll figure out where I can safely hide.
