If we can swing it, I'd suggest we get Guts and I to the front lines. If not (because Guts and Frusty are on opposite sides), then I don't see any point to changing things up.

Your move is after Gerad's.

The following spells are still available to you:
  • Sleep: this can actually be used on the Gargoyle, although it does have 4 Mind Points, so it's unlikely to stick around long.
  • Courage: two extra combat dice for someone.
  • Ball of Flame: up to two points of damage to something. Good way to damage the boss through those five defense dice.
  • Pass Through Rock: there was some discussion about you using this on this turn. I'm not sure if it's an especially good idea, but it's there.

Gerad has only Swift Wind, which allows a hero to roll four movement dice (instead of two) for a single turn. If Büge isn't moving (I don't think she is), then Gerad just needs to decide what he's doing and it's back to you.

I have more health than Guts does. I don't see any point in moving and exposing him to attack. I'm inclined to stay where I am unless someone else has an idea that involves me moving.

Going back though the thread and finding the most recent map it looks like none of my spells will be of much use here since the heavy hitting enemies are being blocked from line of sight by the Orc in the door. If this positioning is still accurate then I have nothing I can do this turn, as I don't want to use my remaining offensive magics on a lowbie and Courage wears off as soon as there is no longer an enemy in line of sight.

The orc is dead now. The chaos warrior and gargoyle (I think?) are still in the same positions in the room. So you could use something if you wanted to, but it would put you in position to be attacked by the enemies and prevent anyone else from moving to attack them.

It occurs to me that since Murderstorm became a new Elf when Gerad took the reins, Büge should have the chance to change the unforgettable name of our current Dwarf.

I think if the dwarf dies before he gets out of this dungeon, his brother Bashful will take up his sword in vengeance. If he survives to the end of this dungeon, he's going to retire to the family mine and let his brother Bashful take over adventuring for him. He's getting to old for this schist.

Incidentally, on his turn, Frustipusti is going to take a swing at the Chaos Warrior and then move behind the wizard.

Probably don't move; let's see if our Wizard has a spell that can mess with this guy (I think the original plan was to use sleep on it, then buff me up with the bonus weapon dies on the next turn), and then I'll charge in and see what I can do with my sword.

I only mention this because I thought the plan was to Sleep the Gargoyle.

Courage seems to last for a single hit. The wording is not super clear, so I can look for a ruling on it if you care.

Dorf just ran behind you, so you're now the bodyguard. As for life totals:

Guts: 3/8
Sneezy: 2/7
Murderstorm: 5/6
Roku: 2/4
Verag: 3/3
Chaos Warrior: 3/3

Frankly, you're in better shape than I thought.

I don't think GUTS can attack unless I move away, which I'd be happy to do but would open him up to attack first.
