These soldiers will see nothing, because we will make their head explode. All this time back and we haven't yet been maimed or done any maiming? For shame, fellow Tyrants.
For shame. |

Two new updates and no murder?
That's ridiculous. Kill. KILL, KAI LORD! |

Dudes are just worried you're a bad guy. Make nice with them, tell them how some two-foot tall mice robbed you blind, and they might even give you some cash!!
Save the head exploding for the bad guys who aren't immune to it. |

Yeah, I think I reread that part like five times, trying to figure out how that was supposed to work.

Alright! Let's teach these fools just what it means to be a lone wolf!

I don't care how good with a sword you are, someone who can explode heads beat someone who can't explode heads every time.

It's like the book is hell bent on not letting us use our powers of Awesome. I am very disappointed.

Damn, it feels good being this right.

Yeah, that one was actually pretty obvious, but it would be nice if the book would let you get away with some really stupid shit once in a while. I mean, the player should be punished for it (lose items, health, etc), but the problem here is that rather than being the ultimate punishment, death is really no punishment at all - because who the heck isn't just gonna turn right back to the previous page and go again?

Me, that's who.
Game's over. The end. GO HOME PEOPLE. |

Good job guys, this is why we can't have nice LPs. =(

Stupid knights, they should have recognized the cloak of a kai lord and willingly let us cave their heads in with our weapons since we are the world's last hope. Their king is gonna just have to sit around waiting for death now.

I've always done double-takes on that illustration. That forecastle is HUGE; it makes it look like it's actually the rear of the ship. But then you notice the battering ram on the water line, and the direction of the sails. It's certainly an interesting ship design, although I'm not sure it's practical.
Also! Note this line in the Sommerswerd description: Quote:

Actually, a battering ram at the waterline isn't that unusual for a war ship. If you have to put a hole in the side of a ship somewhere, putting the hole where water can come in easily helps make the other ship sink faster.
