I should probably post the stats on the other four mandatory units.
No, you're not reading that wrong. My (three levels lower) Eliwood is better than my Hector. |

I haven't a clue about supports.

I vote for nobody. That is, you bring the required units and no others (does the game let you do that?) If not, Guy, Bartre, Matthew, Rebecca, Raven, Nino, and Harken. edit: So you have one Lord per triangle-weapon? Or can they equip other than what they look? |

OK, maybe I'm a little irked that I can't vote for whom I want.
I'm more curious if it is a. permitted by the game to send few in when you have more people and b. if he can win that way, than trying to screw him over. I mean, he's already tool-assisting some.

I can pick up to twelve units, but yes, I can stick with just five. Doing so would make the final chapter a pain in the ass though.
And promotion gave the Lords each an alternate weapon. Hector can use Axes and Swords, Eliwood can wield Swords and Lances, and Lyn's stuck with Swords and Bows. |

Anyway, I tend to base my final team on the S-rank weapons, so I'd like to see the following in the final chapter: Regal Blade: Wil Serra Rex Hasta: Guy Basilikos: Bartre Rienfleche: Nino Excalibur: Rebecca Luce: Raven Gespenst: Matthew Also, requesting that we turn Athos into a Dark Druid. |

I'm not going to be using the S-Rank weapons. I want a high Funds ranking, and the Killer Weapons I'm using are broken enough.
Also, Eliwood is mounted. That totally pushes him over Hector in usefulness. |

*shrug* Fair enough; I just like breaking my team down by weapon class when it comes down to the final battle. That said, you'll probably want to round out your team with Matthew anyway for some OHKO Luna-cy. :P Unless that would put your Funds ranking over the edge...?

Nah, Luna's fine. It's only the Silver, Brave, and S Rank weapons that are too pricey to use.

Alright, I'm going to be starting the chapter as soon as I wake up, so let's take a look at the polls.
Kent: 1 Wil: 1 Rebecca: 5 Matthew: 2 Bartre: 2 Nino: 4 Guy: 3 Florina: 1 Fiora: 2 Farina: 1 Harken: 2 Raven: 3 So, just looking at the numbers, I'm going to be using Rebecca, Nino, Guy, Raven, Bartre, Fiora, and Harken. I have a ridiculously broken Florina who's Supported to Rebecca, Nino, and Hector, and you pick Fiora and Guy over her. What did I do to you people to make you hate me so much? |
#283
|
|||
|
|||
Fiora over Matthew? Boo, boo I say.
|
#284
|
|||

I did a test run of the stage before I checked the polls. Matthew... Matthew did not do well at all. Even with Luna, his Magic stat is just too damn low.

I'll switch my Fiora vote to Florina. Hadn't tallied supports enough to know who's brokenly good off them.

I would've liked to see Wallace too. Oh well.

The gimmick of this chapter is that it’s basically a boss rush. As the turns pass, rooms containing boss morphs will be unlocked. Once all are defeated, the way to Nergal is cleared. Anyways, as you can see from that picture above the boss morphs have absolutely ridiculous stats. In fact, despite the fact that I’ve been manipulating the RNG for all I can, these guys are still stronger than the majority of my units. The fact they’re all equipped with super broken weapons does not help matters. I have two trump cards though. First, Nil’s Flametongue can attack from three panels away. Twenty damage isn’t enough to kill any of the boss morphs, but it significantly helps. Second, my last minute whining successfully brought Florina into the battle. Her Supports with Hector and Nino, her stats, and her Killer Lance combined result in an absolutely ridiculous Critical chance that can one shot the majority of the enemies here. That’s one down. Speaking of critical hits, they’re how I’m going to be beating this chapter. My characters are strong, yes, but the enemies they’re facing are just as strong. Critical hits are almost guaranteed kills, so I’ll need to abuse them as much as possible. Also, since I don’t need to anymore, I won’t be manipulating my levels. Kenneth is basically impervious to magic, but why would you even use that against him? That’s two. Brendan is slow enough that Flametongue can do significant damage to him. Or, in this case, kill him with an absurdly lucky critical. I swear to God I did not manipulate the RNG for that. Darin’s ridiculous Defense is a big problem. Even two critical hits won’t bring him down. But if I weaken him with Flametongue first… Everything is fine. Quote:
Ursula and Jerme are probably the easiest of the boss morphs to beat. Ursula because she has to deal with her class’ low stat caps. Jerme because he’s an Assassin, who are inherently terrible. |

Lloyd and Linus are by far the hardest of the boss morphs. Not only do they have crazy stats, and not only do they have powerful weapons (Lloyd has the all-powerful Regal Blade, and Linus is packing a Brave Sword), but they also have one amazing trump. They have an A support from each other. Linus gets a boost to Attack, Defense, Avoid, and Critical Evade, while Lloyd gets a boost to Defence, Avoid, Critical Chance, and Critical Evade. The important thing to note there is the boost to Critical Evade; I absolutely can not let them attack me, so it’s important to get a critical hit. In a normal game, the battle against Lloyd and Linus can be a leap of faith. But I could care less. Once you take down one brother, the other is much less of a threat. That doesn’t mean he’ll be harmless though; look how much damage Linus did to Florina with only one unlucky hit. Once the way to Nergal is unlocked, these Generals will march in. They’re totally harmless though. Last edited by BlitzBlast; 08-13-2011 at 04:36 PM. |

Nergal, on the other hand, is a bitch and a half. He has one major weakness though. Nergal is as slow as hell. Quote:
Lyn’s critical can not be screen captured very well, so you’ll just have to settle for the normal attack she did after it. Anyways, as you can see Nergal hits ridiculously hard. If it weren’t for his low Speed, he’d probably be able to kill any character in the game without trouble. Quote:
Eliwood ended up finishing Nergal off, but let’s see what Hector had to say. Quote:

Holy shit, the dragon. He/She’s completely fucking ridiculous. I can’t even use Nils. Even a super support boosted Hector can’t do much. Really, the only things that can harm the dragon are the S-Rank/Legendary weapons. Oh, and Luna. I’ll need a critical to even stand a chance, but I can get that with enough effort. Alright, now to kill the thing. Normally I’d just have Nils refresh Athos, but obviously enough I can’t do that now. As a complete side note, during my test run of the chapter I used the legendary weapons. While I was killing the dragon, I noticed that at the end of Lyn’s normal attack with the Sol Katii, her breasts bounce. I can not unsee this. |

First, I have to get it to as low health as possible. Then Nils can finish the job. Hector gets his own CG with the girl of his choice at the end. ONE YEAR LATER Quote:

You can check out the character endings at Serenes Forest. And so Roy began his harem. If you beat all three Kishuna chapters, you’ll get to see that picture Ninian was looking at back in Chapter 19xx. It’s Nergal and his wife. Last edited by BlitzBlast; 07-23-2011 at 07:38 PM. |

Now for my rank!
…I honestly can’t find it, but a look at my character ending says that I got an overall A rank! That… is totally not worth the trouble I took. Oh well. Chapter 34: Dawn of Destiny (HP: 80%, Str: 40%, Skl: 50%, Spd: 40%, Lck: 60%, Def: 25%, Res: 30%) Roy is pretty lame normally, but I intend to do everything in my power to fix that. (HP: 60%, Str: 25%, Skl: 20%, Spd: 25%, Lck: 20%, Def: 15%, Res: 20%) Marcus went from “solid unit that loses steam near the end” to “useless crap”. (HP: 85%, Str: 45%, Skl: 40%, Spd: 45%, Lck: 40%, Def: 25%, Res: 10%) (HP: 90%, Str: 30%, Skl: 30%, Spd: 40%, Lck: 50%, Def: 35%, Res: 10%) (HP: 80%, Str: 40%, Skl: 50%, Spd: 40%, Lck: 40%, Def: 20%, Res: 10%) (HP: 80%, Str: 40%, Skl: 45%, Spd: 50%, Lck: 35%, Def: 20%, Res: 15%) Then there are these guys. I’m still unsure if I should give Roy and Wolt bonuses because their parents were playable characters. Last edited by BlitzBlast; 07-22-2011 at 12:45 AM. |

Holy shit, those Morphs. Those stats.
Holy shit. Marcus: Civilian. Like you said, he's completely and utterly useless so might as well give him a class that matches. Alan: WyvernRider. He's a complete beast compared to the other cavaliers (far and away my MVP in the Sword of Seals LP) and giving him the ability to fly may very well push him over to broken territory. Lance: Nomad. He's got nearly the same Growths as Shin, except with a little more Luck and Def than Str and Skill and he joins early enough that you can raise him without pulling your hair out. Also, because this game is nutso with WyvernRiders and I've the feeling you'll need as much help as you can get. Bors: Civilian. Use Wendy or Barth instead. Wolt: Hmm... Priest maybe? His growths are pretty meh across the board, so it's hard trying to think of something that'll actually mesh well with his stats. Last edited by PapillonReel; 07-21-2011 at 07:38 PM. |

I was intending on keeping all of the FE7 characters in the jobs you decided for them. You know, to keep some continuity (Also so Bartre will be an unstoppable god).
And for the same reason why I didn't let Lowen be a Civilian (fear of glitching up the game), I won't be accepting any requests for those. As for Dark Dragon... maybe Sophia? |

Fire Emblem 7 is the most depressing FE when you've played FE6.
EDIT Alan- Wyvern Knight, even though it makes no sense whatsoever storyline wise. Bors- Soldier, to fit his meh growth rates. Wolt- Mage, just like his mother! Also his growth rates strike me as mage like, except for his absolute crap resistance. Lance- I dunno, I'll just go with Nomad. |

Alright, I think I've got an idea for how to handle the children. Like how the returning PoR characters got a little stat bump in RD if they had some stats capped, all stats that the parents capped get increased by two for the children.
Sound good? |

Alright, so if that's the case, the following characters will get stat boosts after I feed their parents my stat boosting items.
Roy: +2 to Strength, Skill and Speed (and +2 to Strength, Speed, Defense and Resistance if you want to count the bonus the Flametongue gave to Nils, who shares Ninian's stats) Wolt: +2 to Strength and Speed Sue: +2 to Strength (I actually had Lyn A Support with Rath near the end) Lilina: +4 to Strength, Skill and Speed, +2 to Defense and Luck. Ray and Lugh: +2 to Strength and Resistance Fir: +2 to Strength and Speed Last edited by BlitzBlast; 07-21-2011 at 08:04 PM. |
