Going from what I saw on another let's play of this, I think you only take 1 damage and sanity (from the Dhole's Overwhelming *1* and Nightmarish *1*). Not 1 *hit* for its damage stats.

Nope. If I had failed the Evade check the Dhole would have done its full health damage against me immediately, then regular combat would have begun. Overwhelming and Nightmarish damage is applied after you defeat a monster.

However, the press is mistaken, and the murders were caused by 2 monsters that are released into the Southside streets.

Zombie and a Gug appear in the Southside streets.

Environment still in effect.
  • Will checks in Arkham are made at a -1 penalty.

Ursula is technically down 2 points of Sanity and 1 health, but since I'm having her use the Healing Stone during upkeep she should be running at 4/4.

I forgot about the Elder Sign SAN/STA cost. I updated the figures as if you had used the Healing Stone.

I think I'm actually at 5/7 Sanity, 1 loss from a spell cast, and another from an otherworld encounter.

On Upkeep, move Speed/Sneak to 1/3.

There are two monsters in the Southside street area, so let Mark try to deal with them before you go traipsing off into the Woods.
