So I can't actually roll to close the gate unless I cast the Sigil of Hermes Trismegistus spell or burn clue tokens, since its -3 difficulty and the Lurker adds -1 to the check. However, I think Mogri is in a similar position. So, sraymonds, would either of the gates return the Gug or Formless Spawn to the cup?
I'm going to hold off on my turn until I see what Sarcasmorator and Mogri want do, as both of them have enough clues with dussssstin's to seal a gate. A gate needs to be closed this turn, but I think I'm in a better position to aid someone in closing their gate than closing one myself. |

CaptBlasto could still technically cast the spell to give someone a +1 to close a gate. If none of these gates are closed and another one opens up, Hastur is going to wake up.

I think it might be beneficial for Mogri to take it, and hopefully close the gate he is at, since you could reroll without the spell's aid next turn Sarcasmorator. If Mogri fails to close/seal, then I could burn my clue tokens to get 2 shots at closing the gate I'm at. |
