Clue appears at : Unvisited Isle Monster Movement: All monsters currently on board are fliers. Gate - Graveyard. Since there is a gate already open at the Graveyard, we have ourselves a monster surge. 8 monsters emerge from the various gates.

By the way sraymonds, my Lore/Luck is incorrect in that box, I swapped it to 4/1 last turn.
Only thing I can really see myself doing is just moving up Speed/Sneak to 0/4, which will give me 6 Sneak total (4 from me, 1 from skill, 1 from weather) before monster modifiers to try and evade, and hope I get a lucky roll on my die to close the gate. |

Ok, I will try to sneak by the Shambler first, because taking a ton of stamina damage and then getting lost in time and space seems silly. I'll roll my dice in a little bit and post the results.

Getting lost in time and space isn't really a big deal unless Nyarlathotep is the bad guy. I don't think anyone is working on that gate anyway.

Alright. Upkeep: Move Speed/Sneak to 0/4
Evade check on Dimensional Shambler: 3 Dice (4 Sneak +1 from Skill +1 from weather - 3 for Awareness). Dice rolls are: 4,3,1 I'm Lost in Time and Space . I do gain a clue token from it, so I guess thats not too bad. Mogri, Currently Akachi(Queen Possum) is in the Great Hall of Celano, which is where the Gate at Silver Twilight Lodge leads to. |

Cultist first! Gonna fight this jerk with my Cavalry Saber. That's 4(-2)(+2) for my fight check. Result 4, 5, 6, 3 — he's toast.
Second up is the Nightgaunt. Better to lose to this one now than after taking a pounding from the Dhole. My Will score is 1(-1) for this check, so I auto-fail the Horror check and take a sanity loss of 1. I'll use the Valary Saber again, which will have the same combat rating as before. Result 3, 3, 5, 5 — I add a Nightgaunt head to my trophy bag. Finally, the Dhole. If I try to evade and fail, I'm pretty boned since he'll hit me for 4 health right away. But if I do the horror check and fail I'm also boned, because I only have 4 sanity. So I think I'll try to evade, and burn clue tokens to reroll as needed. 2. Burn clue 2. Burn clue 6. Evaded! I'll take out the Ghost with a clue token, per Jim's ability. Still need to roll Horror: 5, 1.
As for the rest, I'll start with the Byakhee. Horror is 3 dice: 3, 4, 2. I'll take the Sanity damage on the trumpet. Combat is 5 dice: 1, 4, 3, 5, 2. Hooray. Maniac has no horror. Combat is 4 dice: 4, 5, 1, 1. Not great rolls, but good enough. Where's Jim getting sucked to? |

Let's Elder Sign this sucka! I lose a Stamina and a Sanity, the gate is sealed with a toke from the Big Bad's doom track, and all monsters of whatever its symbol is disappear.
My move next turn will be to get into another gate, then Find Gate my way out for a more efficient sealing, I think. |
