If no one has a problem with it, I say CaptBlasto heads to Arkham Asylum to heal some San. Spells are gained from Ye Olde Magic Shoppe so staying at the Curositie Shoppe won't help.
Sarcasmorator should stay put and hope that Giant Head can shut down the gate. Good? |

That works for me. I have one more use of the Book of Dyzan to gain spells, but it uses up most of my movement.
Upkeep: change Speed/Sneak to 3/1 Move to Arkham Asylum. I think I will just go with the heal 1 sanity in the Arkham encounters phase. I will save the $2 I have left to full heal later. |

I'll have to see the updated map to be sure, but I'm pretty sure my plan is to Mists of Releh past the guy again and then run to the Asylum for brain care. Probably will go ahead and burn my $2. If only I had the dog. Then I could eat the dog to become more sane, because that's what eating a dog does. Makes you sane.

Even with my AWESOME SWORD I can't take either of these guys without going insane or burning a whole lot of clue tokens. I suppose the thing to do is focus for Sneak, sneak the +0 Polyp, Mists the Star Spawn, and run the fuck away. That's two 3 dice rolls I need to succeed on... hmm... ...or I could dark pact for a bound ally to give me the sneaky thief lady and scramble out of there that way. |

Could you indicate Elder Sign locations so we can see where gate-free encounters are?
It won't matter for my turn though, I just thought it would be helpful. Roland collects one clue token per how his brain somehow works. Roland adjusts Speed/Sneak to 2/3 and heads to Ye Olde Magick Shoppe to buy some things. P.S. The wiki has me with 1 clue token, but I should have burned all I had sealing the gate.
