My suggestion is for no one take a Dark Pact. I can handle being Cursed just fine. We definitely do not want poetfox being cursed.

So I can use Patrice's clue tokens. I have 5, Patrice has 5. So I have two clue tokens for extra dice if needed, since we need 8 to seal.

Dammit, Roland, why you no have Gate Trophy for a bonus?

Upkeep, I'll up my fight/will so I have 5 fight to close this gate, thanks to my skill.

Abyss gate is -2, right? It's a "Gate of Doom" but I don't know what that means.

*takes a breath* Okay. So, 4 +1 for Skill, -1 for Lurker, -2 for gate = 2 dice to seal this motherfucker and win this thing.

And you were worried.

You know what? Give me a curse, I don't care, I'll seal that gate anyway.

You also got +1 to Lore for the Heat Wave, but it looks like you got it handled.

Gate of Doom just meant that if it opened in a space occupied by an investigator, a Doom token goes on the track.

Yeah, either way I ended up with a stat of 5, so it didn't much matter.

Great job everyone on the victory! It was a lot of fun to play this over the course of a few weeks rather than a marathon session. Props to sraymonds for keeping everyone on the ball and keeping the game moving smoothly!
