Unreliable I will agree with, but I'm going to have to stop you right there on the random element business. Each party member does elemental damage based on the crystal they most represent. Bartz does Wind damage, Lenna does Water damage, Faris does Fire damage, and Krile (Galuf, too, if you cheat) does Earth damage. This was actually covered in the LAP thread as well, with the bonus class character run.

I was wondering why Krile kept doing an earth-elemental attack for her !Finisher. That explains it.

Last time the party finished their trek through the Interdimensional Rift, fighting all manner of bosses along the way. They slew the two greatest threats to mankind ever via cheap jungle tricks, and then watched helplessly as their former-enemy-turned-friend Gilgamesh sacrificed himself to make a save point for them. Now they grind their classes, so they can grind Exdeath into powder shortly afterward.

I suggest you grab a snack and a fizzy drink before you begin, 'cause this update's gonna be huge. We're talking GUTS huge here.



♪♪ Battle 1 ♪♪

Their grinding is made far easier by the abundance of zero-experience high-ABP enemies in the Rift, naturally. Especially these little guys. They can take a real beating before going down, but it's worth the trouble.

(Today's update is still in Classic Blue. We're ending this thing properly, and that's that!)

First off, they drop mad Gil. That'll keep !Zeninage going for a while!



Second, they give mad ABP. Now you see why I set the grind limit so high!



It takes almost no time at all to get everyone up to snuff. In a break from formula, he's where they stand now. They've come a long way from the moppets they started out as.
