There's this guy on SA doing a New Game+++++++ run of Chrono Trigger from memory (he lost the controller).

It's a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, this is great.

Rondo of Swords by Einander comes highly recommended by me. I vaguely remembered Rondo of Swords as being kind of a hot mess, but Einander sells its many sterling qualities quite well (while not glossing over its frequent annoyances). Contains quality analysis of both story and mechanics.

I've been reading that one, too! And yeah, it's pretty solid, though it also ensures I'll never, ever pick up that game.

Here's the first video of my friends Blind LP of Symphony of the Night! He was inspired by me.

Sailor Moon blogger Jet Wolf did a blind liveblog of Hatoful Boyfriend yesterday. I laughed until I cried, so y'all might enjoy it too.

Tumblr being tumblr, it's hard to pinpoint exactly where to start reading. This is where the beginning currently is but she's prolific so it won't be there long:

You can also try looking up the tag #jet wolf plays hatoful boyfriend and/or #THE GIFTENING 2015 but I've found that some of the posts get dropped from that view even though they're tagged.

The 5 years in the making FFVII LP from SA just hit the archives.

I wasn't sure it would ever get done, but it came out darn good.

Just picture Colonel Campbell in a weird wispy scientist voice going all "HEY BABY, WANT TO GET FREAKY? and by that I mean in the sciencey way"

This here LP is great if you want an in-depth look at a guy playing Civilization II on Deity, absolutely thrashing it, and then explaining exactly how he thrashes it in detail.

So hey, it turns out that the key to making a Pokémon video let's play enjoyable, something that I would previously have not thought possible, is Griffin McElroy and heavy editing.
