It's Battletoads, so one can't expect too much progress. One of them does finish the game, but they are all stuck on one level each for at least 2 videos.
There is usually some progress for at least one player in each video.

Battletoads was never actually finished because they ran out of money just as they were supposed to go gold. They worked around that fact by making the game so difficult that everyone would give up before ever realizing the truth.

This has been a (Made Up) Fact.

HCBailly's Zelda LP is pretty good.

I'm hoping my breath for him to say "Level Six WILL KILL YOU!"

Also, TRIPLE FAIRIES

I have a like/hate relationship with Game Grumps, but it's interesting seeing them bang their head against a blind run of Talking Time "favorite" Clash at Demonhead.

I have tried many times to get this game working on various PS1 emulators, to no success.

Being an European, I never even played that game(we never got it).
Was kinda shocked to see the "Talking Time" screen when watching that episode a few days ago. Like all the pieces of a gigantic puzzle finally coming together. (or like getting a joke 20 years late *shrug*)

this let's play of sonic the hedgehog (2006) is the sum total of my knowledge of the sonic the hedgehog franchise. like i'm aware that everyone hated sonic the hedgehog 2006, but i didn't really know why and now that i'm seeing it everything is wonderful and amazing and perfect. just think about how many people had to sign off on this concept.

Have you seen this LP of that game? A group of friends committed to playing the entirety of Sonic 2006 in one sitting. The whole hilarious odyssey is approximately 24 hours long and is best watched one or two eps at a time like a TV season. It's like a self-inflicted social experiment as these poor souls descend into the abyss, and it's one of my favourite things on the internet.

So this guy on the LP Archive is demonstrating a Level One Crono Run. To accomplish this feat he is grinding shelters. Grinding in Chrono Trigger, it's so hilariously ridiculous.

He also has a good way with sarcastic one-liners; if you enjoy the intro it pretty much continues in that vein.

I wish that was done more in the style of "let's break FFIV" and assumed you knew the game already. I don't want to read a page about the fair for a challenge run.

Rockin' Dragon Quest V narrative screenshot LP I can see now why everyone likes this one.

(I am wondering whether the Dragonlance books actually made it over to Japan, because while having either a thing called dragon orbs or a wacky old guy who turns out to be god and also a dragon in disguise could be coincidence, having both makes it sound like somebody read Hickman and Weis. It's not just translation, is it?)

Basically it's a camcorder LP of MGS2, played by someone who apparently thinks all games should be modern first-person shooters. He took the videos down after some much-deserved mockery, but a helpful troll preserved the highlights (as well as the mockery) for our amusement.

I think my favorite part is where he screams, "OH MY GOD, how did he fucking see me!? I was LYING DOWN and BEHIND A TABLE!"
Well there goes my evening!

Why the heck isn't this thread stickied anymore?

So anyway that British hussy SovanJedi cheated on me and made an LP with another man. Click here to see the fruits of his vile betrayal!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go eat this entire tub of Ben & Jerry's.

I would have thought that the Temple of Fiends from hell would have already driven you well past that point.

(Translation: seeing all of these failures on video is the best comedy you've produced since "EAST!")

For anyone who's actually interested in this: the second part of this series is delayed on account of sickness/sore throat. Once that clears up, I'll be uploading a new segment every couple days as originally planned.

As much as I want to avoid seeming narcissistic, this is the best thread I could find to link a let's play of Dead Island I'm doing with my friends.

Edit:We finished it. if you don't want to bother with all 23 episodes, just watching 21, 22, and 23 manage to embody everything that is dead island, and the only good parts of dead island.

Oh yeah, my friend and I (and his coworker) did a Silent Hill 2 playthrough that's almost done going up. It's kind of funny?

What happened to Brickroad? Did he die?

Please don't die, Brick. I was enjoying Final Fantasy and Demon's Crest.

I'm not sure but I think Demon's Crest killed him. Or caused him to have a nervous breakdown. Alas, poor Brickroad.

I don't know, man, those two are getting painful to watch at this point.

... if Demon's Crest killed him, am I going to jail?
