I don't know anything about that comic but I am seriously happy to see so many women without lipstick, or with a minimal amount. Natural shaded lips were rare in most media when I was a kid. I remember so many girls being teased for "not looking right" in middle school because their parents wouldn't let them wear makeup yet, while all the popular girls had tons of it and probably perms or something too.

Watched a few minutes of the included video and the animations in this game look fantastic and charming as all hell. Look at the way Michelangelo runs! Really looking forward to this.

Every second of that clip is charming as hell. Foot clan bakers on a TV cooking show set angrily tossing their mixing bowls and removing their chef's hats to fight turtles? :chefkiss:

Also, it's kind of impressive that it's recognizably Cam Clarke just from a "Hiyyyaaa!"

Can't wait to cut up Foot as Liquid Snake.

Whoever they get for Shredder I hope it's not Jim Cummings. Guy's a horrible, horrible person and I'd rather they get an actor from one of the more recent shows than have him reprise the role.

Shame James Avery died years ago.

Not that this is hugely important, but when does this game take place? It feels 80s-dated, what with the large boxy cars, the run down look of New York, and the CRT televisions in the pawn shop. Channel 6 even feels like a local television network prior to the FOX network's takeover of UHF. How many television networks in 2022 have their own in-building studios for cooking shows and daytime television? All that stuff these days is usually piped in from a remote location. Yet there's a scene where Donatello takes a break from fighting to answer his smart phone.

Maybe it takes place in the year 20XX, like Mega Man. It's way too anachronistic to be either the 1980s or now.

Kinda weird to hear cartoon Donny's voice call the Turtle Van the "Party Wagon." I know it was called that in pretty much every other piece of licensed merch to have it, but I don't think that term was ever used throughout ten seasons and nearly 200 episodes.

Apparently it works for both local and online play, but I don't know exactly how the local version would be set up.

Regarding your review, yeah, I hated the constant string of challenge messages in Final Fight: Double Impact, and I'm no more happy to see them here. Maybe the designers will let you shut them off with a flick of a switch, because you sure as hell couldn't do it in Double Impact. What is this, an arcade game or VH1's Pop-Up Video?
