Rockman 6: After Tournament is positioned as a direct sequel to 6, but all this amounts to is a fight where Wily dramatically pulls off his mask to reveal he was Mr. X all along, only to pull of that mask moments later to dramatically reveal he was actually Wily! Chock full of creative ideas, this hack introduces one or two gimmicks in every stage which weren't present in the original game. Pretty impressive. The weapon set is particularly robust. My favorite was Centaur Man's Genome Inspiration, which warps you to the location of the enemy killed with it. This opens up some clever puzzle solving and speed tech. Really fun idea for a weapon.

Finished Mega Man & Bass. That’s eight more Robot Masters down, plus King, so we’re at 970.
I hadn't played 9 in a long time, so I fired that up after work today. So far, I've got Hornet Man, Splash Woman, Concrete Man, Magma Man, and Gravity Man. Hopefully, I'll get back to it, but I'm also quite busy between now and Mega-Mas, so it might just stay at those five.
Finished MMV (GB). That’s quite a lot more on the scoreboard: Neptune, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Terra, Enker, Quint, Punk, Ballade, and Sunstar. 989 now!

Rockman 5 YH is a remix hack that doesn't set out to change MM5 so much as refine and tighten it in just about every area and does a pretty great job of it. Very satisfying I think for both players who like 5 and those who find it pretty weak. My favorite change is to Stone Man's weapon. It keeps the same firing pattern but kinda flips it horizontally on the z-axis. Hard to describe, but it makes sense when you see it. I love this. It retains the flavor of the original weapon while making it _much_ more viable of an option.
