Meanwhile my partner and I also just watched Shang-Chi finally and quite enjoyed it. I didn't even mind the end turning into the requisite giant CGI battle because Chinese Dragon pretty (though sure, obviously the choreography was more fun in the earlier less-superpowered fights - and there were some really fun shots, like the silhouettes against the giant advertising signs). Also I didn't even know (or had forgotten) Michelle Yeoh was in it so her showing up was a fun surprise even if her part was pretty small.
I guess Wong is basically Fury now, at least for the magic-ish half of the MCU.
Regarding the post-post-credits, I hope Shang's sister is okay - people with access to enormous extra-national paramilitary organizations don't have a great track record of staying good.
