You want the program called Checkpoint. That will allow you to manage save files in either direction (from cart to sd card/from sd card to cart).OK, so I hacked mine and am about to rip all of my cartridge games so I can just play them from the menu. One small issue - it doesn't rip the save at the same time. Anyone know how to copy the save to the SD card version of the game?
Brilliant, I'll have to try that out.You want the program called Checkpoint. That will allow you to manage save files in either direction (from cart to sd card/from sd card to cart).
EDIT: That apparently works with Switch, now, which it didn't when I downloaded it several years ago lol. Make sure you get the 3DS version.
See here for a guide on hacking your 3DS. You don't need an eShop connection, but for now it's easier to do that way. If/when the eShop goes offline, it should still be possible to hack your 3DS, from what I'm reading. Still, just in case I'm wrong, it might be a good idea to hack it sooner rather than later. Is 3DS hacking eShop dependant? Just wondering if I should try it now or if it's safe to postpone for a summer holiday project.
On the other hand, unless you hack your DS, this might be the last chance you get to play any EO games in the original hardware. So if you got a passing interest in any of these I'd take the chance (PQs are charming, but god, they just. keep. talking.)All the Atlus stuff is on sale again, so if you're gonna buy, now is the time. I snagged SMT IV: Apocalypse and Radiant Historia: PC, and I'm debating if I want to go nuts and buy all the Etrian Odyssey and Persona Q games along with 7th Dragon III. Only trouble is that I've never actually finished any EO game, so... perhaps not.

I have to say, too many of these games have some really sketchy DLC options. Was looking through Radiant Historia and I mean, come on. I hated Nintendo's approach to FE Fates, too.
