I'm sure I'll hack my system as soon as the eShop goes down. I'd like to have a New 3DS (or 2DS) instead, though - I'm still rocking a 3DS XL.

Soul Hackers is actually one of (maybe the only?) SMT or spinoff I've finished. I had a great time with it. Also, the right setup with Nemissa just lets you destroy bosses. It's kinda nice not having a brutally difficult time of things.

I didn't even know they had TN vs. IPS panels in those. Very interesting indeed. Although I'll be happy just finding a N3DS XL period for a reasonable price.

Yeah it seemed to only properly exist in the N3DS XLs? And it was some kind of lottery, it was never an advertised specification. Top screen IPS is more common than dual, but they exist. In all the 3DSs I've owned (and it's embarrassingly many), I think I've only had one top-ips before.

So the 3DS Sega sale didn't come to EU. It has happened before, but it's a downer.

Anyway, all I'm missing for my 3DS Bucket List is Etrian V, the rest of the Picross E series and a couple 3D Sega Classics. Maybe Ertian IV so I have it digitally. I hope any of them get on sale here before the eShop goes to a farm upstate to play with other digital services.

Online play for 3DS (and Wii U) ends April 8th, 2024. Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter will still be available for a while (no announced date for those ending yet, though apparently soon), and you'll be able to download updates and redownload software you've purchased for the foreseeable future, but online play ends in a couple months, fyi.
