Ok so no duplicity on the part of Anne then. I'm sure Kat will appreciate that.

If she's still alive, I mean.

muteKi

Geno Cidecity
If she wakes up from this, we'd better be careful about making sure she's really ok. Check to make sure she doesn't start advocating for massive, inefficient public works tunneling projects

Not going to lie: I may use the phrase "my [new] cyber-senses indicate you're not impressed by that joke," on this very forum.

LOUDSKULL
(DUDE/BRO)
I genuinely love how hard this is leaning into "Annie and Paz genuinely hate this and wish it would stop."

Just every single panel, nothing but sheer undiluted UNHAPPINESS in it's purest form.

Bulgakov

Yes, that Russian author.

I genuinely love how hard this is leaning into "Annie and Paz genuinely hate this and wish it would stop."
Also "Annie and Paz never thought they'd have to work together on something serious and it's definitely not a natural fit."

This chapter has been very good.

I love this chapter, it's one of my favourites in ages. Just a focus on Kat being kinda insane, and a wee-bit out of touch, and (hopefully) showing us something really cool over the next few pages.

Considering that it's GC, I wouldn't be surprised if the chapter ended with Paz being so weirded out by everything, that she breaks up with Kat. I just can't shake the feeling that something bad, on an emotional level, will happen before this is over.
