I really enjoyed these. I stopped reading gamer webcomics a long time ago so it's like a little nostalgia trip without having to go to one.
Oh! It's Zimmy! Haven't seen her since she deus ex machina'd the Annies back together.
You know, I had the same "deus ex machina" reaction when that happened, but now that it is being recontextualized as an example of how she is just as powerful as some of the "god" characters... I kind of like it? Like now it is less "deus ex machina" and more "oh snap Cell just beat up Trunks who beat Frieza, that proves he is a threat".
Still not my favorite plot beat in the series, but rather fond of how it was remotely redeemed.
Zimmy has been known to get very defensive and push people away, and even eff with their minds a bit, so there's a non-zero chance this is that again.
She's probably not wrong to want Kat to not meddle with Omega, though, whatever the outcome.

Paz going from so upset on Wedesday to being all smiles to Annie today, along with their conspicuous nod, is making me wonder if Annie DIDN'T insert the chip?
I could see that, but I think Kat would pretty quickly figure it out when her implant doesn't work, and realize what they did to boot. But Paz's smile does seem conspicuous, I agree.
