Figured Troids would end up here. They really are one of the most iconic enemies in gaming.

I place all responsibility on Akira Toriyama. How many other monster mooks can you name that have their own series where they participate in tank fights? ~ Ixo
They took the formless blobs from Dungeons & Dragons and made them cute. This blue Hershey's Kiss basically summarizes the whole design sense of an entire generation of role-playing games. ~ Dracula
Would the Dragon Quest series have the same level of popularity if it didn't have slimes? I doubt it. Also if your common enemy becomes a mascot and gets its own spin-offs then you know you are game designing good. ~ Torzelbaum
Obvious pick, but it's obvious for a reason. They really are pretty good. ~ Kishi
An iconic design approaches! Command? ~ Positronic Brain

OMFG Regulus, Ixo, Lokii and Kishi THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE
