This is me, and as of 3:10 PM EST, still no email. Was kind of hoping to get my order in and have the thing ship next week, as I have next week entirely off (coincidentally). Oh well.

I guess this may have changed after the delay, but they definitely explicitly said last year that there would be staggered fulfillments, from smallest to largest model, because I was bummed about it at the time.

I admittedly can't find mention of that in this latest round of news releases, though, so maybe that's out the window now. I'll be happy, if so!

I dug up my pre-order confirmation email (can you tell I'm pumped for this thing? lol), and I got my order in at 10:05 PDT on July 16th, and still no email. I just hope I get an email this weekend at the very least...

I got mine in 12:07 CDT (according to the email), and thankfully am still in the Q1 2022 bracket. Really looking forward to getting my hands on this. Reviews have got me super excited.

Yeah, I don't recall if they said that before, but they don't make mention of it in the current release plans.

I'm excited to have mine by Christmas...thankfully I have a different handheld PC to hold me over until then but, looking forward to the possibilities of the Deck.

You can now check what in your Steam library is deck verified.

My library is 16 verified to work, 11 playable, 4 unsupported and 176 untested. Curious to see more things get filled in as it goes along. This is a helpful link, thanks! I ended up getting a laptop instead of this but very curious to see how it does.

Wowzers, glad someone has me beat. 1279 untested on mine. (Most of my bought games that weren't bundles are on GOG, not Steam, but those bundles I bought years ago *really* inflated my numbers.)

So previews are blowing my expectations of what PC games it would be able to run out the park, so it looks like Valve did a good job with their choice of custom CPU/GPU. It does look like the CPU will be a bottleneck on emulation though. Not that I was expecting to be able to run demanding PS3 and Switch titles on this, but it seems like a lot of people online were.

Yeah, I had a feeling that the CPU would be the limiter here, but it's still pretty darn impressive for what it was shooting for. I still expect PS2 emulation to be very good, which is one of the bigger reasons for me to get this. I think the PS3 stuff is really thread-hungry, so only four cores will impact performance there for sure.

Same here (though I'll use it for newer PC titles as well occasionally). Portable PS2! Can't wait!

I'm actually salivating over loading up many of the PS2 games I just never got around to playing much of back in the day. I think I'd be able to chip away at some of those RPGs in a more portable form factor before bed than hooked to the TV.

....portable R.A.D. is one of the things that would make me get one of these, yes. I wonder how well it runs since it's really hard on emulators....

So it's been a week-- anyone get this supposed e-mail yet? The internet tells me that the first of these e-mails have supposedly gone out, but as far as I can tell it's just the press. A whole lot of folks around here and that I know elsewhere got their place in line very early and haven't heard a peep yet, so I'd love to hear from an actual human who has had the opportunity to give Valve money.

My understanding is that after the initial batch of emails that went out, it will be every Monday, so expect another wave on March 7. I've seen a smattering of folks on Reddit that were in the initial batch, but I wasn't one of them.

Someone made an app to calculate an estimated day for your reservation to come up based on the model you picked and the time you reserved it.

It comes up as May 2nd for me, so I still got a bit to wait...

Mine shows either April 4th, 11th, or 25th, depending on whatever calculations they're using.
