Valve is making a Switch for your Steam Library. It might be available this Winter?!

Its an actual PC. No streaming that I can find.Is this streaming, or would the device actually run your games? I assume the latter given the numbers, but it's pretty small for a gaming PC...
I don't understand the desire to play a AAA game on a screen you can hold in your hands
I feel the same way. I'm very interested in this, but I want to see how it does in the real world first. Being able to play on my TV might be the kick in the pants I need to get through more of my backlog.I don't want to be an early adopter for a new Valve product, but I hope it does well and they don't kill it after 7 months or whatever. Would be cool if it works out.
I am in.

You probably can't upgrade the RAM, but it has a micro SD slot for additional storage. According to the IGN video, you can run games off of SD cards as well.An interesting idea but I doubt that it would have the features I want, i.e., something on the back I can unscrew to put in more ram or storage.

This looks (a) cool and (b) like an ergonomic nightmare.
There are so, so many pc games not on console that I would absolutely 100% use this for. I am in.
Hi yes this is me also. Absolutely gonna try reserving one tomorrow morning. This is literally everything I've wanted - Just getting to experience all my PC games as a console game without a big wire or streaming set up is one thing, but I also can play them handheld?
Yeah, I just read the weight/dimensions, and it’s a chonky boy. That’s par for course for these of course, but that make me more worried about ergonomics…
It's big slab isn't? You thought the WiiU Pad was big.
