Silent Hill and *tie*! Please break the toy or a coin will do it.

Match 27

Now we have "Castle in the Mist" from Ico. Michiru Oshima did this, as well as a number of the early 2000s Godzilla movies and music for Star Wars: Visions. It's against "Always Been but Never Dreamed" from Tetris Effect. Kathleen Brady did it and she has an album out now: Kathleen II.

Match 28

From the original Fire Emblem it's "Recruit/Together We Ride". Yuka Tsujiyoko did it and she's still with the franchise as sound supervisor. It's against "Wily's Castle" from Mega Man 5. This is by Mari Yamaguchi who also did U.N. Squadron, the game adaptation of the manga Area 88.

(note the Mega Man V video is missing so I'm using a new one.)

What's Shenmue?
Is it bad form to break the last round's tie by voting for my own nom ("Valley")? You can just ignore this if so.

Latest round: "Castle in the Mist" and "Recruit/Together We Ride"

Megaman V and Ico move on.

Match 29

First let's listen to THESE ANIMAL MEN. First is yet another Donkey Kong Country track, "Northern Hemispheres". Eveline Fischer yet again, who is also Pipsy the Mouse in Diddy Kong Racing. Then we have Sonic 06's "Aquatic Base - Level 2". Mariko Nanba did a lot of Sonic, including the preceding year's Shadow the Hedgehog, the original Original Character Do Not Steal.

Match 30

Then we go way back for a classic tune "Wicked Child" from Castlevania. No subtitle even! Kinuyo Yamashita did it and went on to do a lot of Game Boy Color compositions for licensed games (I don't want to play the games but I do want to check out the soundtracks now). And it is going against "Bully" from River City Girls. Megan McDuffee did it and apparently before this she was very prolific doing TV and movie trailers.

I would say no - it's your vote after all. Also if you had voted during the match proper then there probably wouldn't have been a tie in the first place.

Oof. This is a really really hard one. If I could I'd just vote for the two in match 30 over all of 29, but I guess I have to make a call, and only one of these lets me post this again.

... Wait. Did you actually advance the wrong song from Silent Hill Vs. DK somehow? Because if so my vote is actually

Donkey Kong takes the banana cake and Castlevania is whipped into shape.
Now let's bring an end to round 2!

Match 31

Now it's "Generations of Serenity" from The Legend of Mana. This is from Yoko Shimomura and she also did anime including Dan Doh (a shounen golf show), Best Student Council (about a girl who joins a student council with her hand puppet), the movie Napping Princess and the recent Hi-Score Girl. Then Donkey Kong Country 3 is going through a "Rockface Rumble". It's an E. Fischer/Novakovic joint.

Match 32

And finally, we have Celeste with "Confronting Yourself". It's by Lena Raine, who actually made a text adventure of her own called ESC. Then it's "Stickerbush Symphony" from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Michiko Naruke did this arrangement and the subsequent Smash games, including DLC "Let's Go to Seoul" from Fatal Fury.
