Elemental Who Would Win!

They say every dog has its day but they don't really having any saying like that for whatever Draygon is. So I guess I'll say that it's Koromaru's day and crits or instant death or status effects work out in the good boy's favor and Koromaru barely wins.

Johnny is traditionally weak against water. He has a lot of raw power output, but get him doused and he's just a regular human. Focalor wins.

As for the benders, I'm not familiar with them, but I'd put my money on the old guy

Focalor is tough in the colour but he's not hard to beat in the game. Johnny is a known hothead and among the Fantastic Four is the least "thinky". That said, in Johnny's long career, he's a lot more clever than people give him credit for and years of being pushed to use his powers in new ways means he's going to find his way around the demon's water and ice attacks.

I think the second one is super-tough. It's easy to say Iroh with his non-bending fight prowess, his wisdom and his high level bending but Katara, like everyone in Team Avatar, grew fast in their versatility. This is a very even match and I wouldn't be surprised if both parties grew a bit in the conflict. Interestingly, I also think both have abilities neither would want to break out; I don't think Iroh would use his lightning bending simply because it's more likely to do real damage than his fire bending. Meanwhile, Katara is morally opposed to her own knowledge of bloodbending. In the end, I think Iroh would begin the fight conservatively, letting Katara try to exhaust herself while he ducks and weaves until her ability to think on her feet forces him to force him to act. This is where the fight gets more aggressive but it will be an exchange of wits as both parties are trying to force the other somewhere where they can knock them off balance and surprise them. But in the end, I think I have to go with Iroh. Much as I hate the obvious choice, I think Iroh isn't a "set in his ways" fighter, despite his diligence to honing his craft and body, and is quick to adapt. Katara is too but I think Iroh doing that coupled with his strong and dense fundamentals means he's got this in the end, though he'll really need a breather afterwards.

I think Focalor can control enough water to extinguish Mr. Torch long enough to deal a decisive blow.

As for the other battle, Iroh's greater experience and self-discipline will help him win in the end with this one, but I agree this would be a very close match.

While Iroh is an extremely capable fighter, and will absolutely still go all-out for his friends or an important cause, but at the same time he’s getting a bit old for this kind of who’s stronger tournament arc nonsense, and would just as soon sit down with a nice cup of tea. I do think he’d be up for a good sparring match with another bender who’s a near equal so it’d be a good show, but in the end Katara (at least at the age pictured) is hungrier to prove herself and would eventually whip out something that would surprise even the most seasoned warrior around. He probably *could* keep going if he had to, but instead he’ll retire with compliments on a match well-fought.

Johnny and Iroh. Johnny has the range and agility to pull this off, and Iroh is the more talented combatant by far.

Johnny doesn't have superhuman reflexes, right?

One of Focalor's main attacks is to shoot a sequential stream of water orbs from his hands. Each orb is about three feet across. He can change the angle of one of the streams while firing but I don't know if he can do that with both of them. The orbs can be blocked but aren't destroyed by magical fire and also can't seem to be destroyed by anything else.

His other attack is to dash across the area in a wake of water/ice that's maybe about 10 feet tall. He's invincible while doing that dash.

He can dig through rock and that has caused boulders to fall which is a hazard when fighting him. He is also invincible while doing this.

His next to last strategy is to surround himself with a different type of water orb of the same size which can be destroyed by just about anything. He floats around while the orbs spin around him and then he fires them off in all directions.

When critically injured he does a last-ditch suicide dash at his opponent. Oddly enough that never seems to be lethal to the other party. This final dash can be dodged or he can be sliced in half while he's doing it.

So I think a big factor in this battle is the arena. A wide open arena is definitely going to favor Johnny more. I think a very confined arena will give a slight edge to Focalor - I think he could maybe do a pincer move with his orb streams to snuff Johnny's flames and then knock him out or drown him. I feel like the organizers will try to avoid that so they might place the battle in an arena that's not sort of in-between those two extremes. The arena might also have some areas of cover / random obstacles. So I think Focalor could win but it still feels like a toss-up here. One thing that could possibly lose the battle for Focalor is if he sticks with his boss pattern too much. If Johnny can survive the first three parts and realizes the final part is his opportunity to attack then I think he could do a lot of damage to Focalor.

The Human Torch takes out Focalor. Iroh defeats Katara then they have lunch.

Guy Fieri Vs. T-1000

Can the kind of flavourtown stop an unstoppable killing machine. Can the effects of liquid metal be undone by Donkey Sauce? Will the T-1000 self-destruct when trying to emulate a shirt that looks like it is on fire?

Ronnie Vs Califer

Now the battle of the guys who… aren’t really ready for this tournament. In many ways opposites; Ronnie has incredible little power but he certainly doubles down on being THE WORST and knows what he wants. Califer shrinks from conflict but has real power and can be a force to be reckoned with providing good incentive and being pushed far enough.

Purple

(She/Her)
Calcifer plays a vital role in the operations of this whole moving castle deal, and I assume that includes being able to, at the very least, move it in such a way that ziplines are no longer properly connected.

And while I have a hard time visualizing the conflict, I do think Guy Fieri could manage a win on the T-1000. The latter canonically does not do well with extreme temperatures in either direction, and I'm guessing the highly acidic nature of various hotsauces would also cause him some non-trivial problems. Presumably most of the "battle" would consist of a cross-country chase, with Fieri having something of a head start due to his collection of classic cars, pre-deployed near various restaurants around the country for intro shoots, but hunting him down would be trivial due to his flamboyant celebrity nature. Really it comes down to whether he knows the location of a restaurant where for 30 years, people have been heating their meat over an active volcano or storing it in the world's largest walk-in freezer or whatever and can get there directly enough.

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Guy Fieri is in his kitchen at one of his Guy's American Grills (it isn't called Flavortown?) and he notices one of the shelves with donkey sauce is leaking. He goes to check. Donkey sauce isn't just leaking anymore. It's actively pouring out. Spewing out, if you will, onto the floor. Guy bends down to check the puddle. Suddenly a sharp blade juts through the puddle and enters his brain through his forehead. The T-1000 wins.

Also, Ronnie is too much of a loser and an annoying prick even Calcifier won't be able to put up with his shit. He wins.

RT-55J

(He/Him + RT/artee)
Calcifer could use any number of fire magicks to break the zipline before Ronnie could splash water on him.

As much as I like Mr. Fieri, I don't think he has the necessary Prop Hunt skills to be able to outwit the T-1000.

Torzelbaum

????? LV 13 HP 292/ 292
(he, him, his)
I am assuming that Calcifer was employed at the Summer Loving mansion for an outdoor grill near the pool and thus the zipline. I could see Ronnie accidentally splashing enough water to extinguish C but I feel like that is unlikely to happen. I can also see him splashing enough water to annoy / scare C and cause C to unleash some heat upon R. A little heat and fire probably won't be enough to deter Ronnie from the zipline so Calcifer will have to up the stakes and might have to destroy the zipline. With nothing left to give him joy Ronnie sees no reason to stay and trudges off in a deep funk. Calcifer wins.

Olli

(he/him)
The Terminator is specifically made for killing regular humans. Guy Fieri doesn't stand a chance, even with home turf advantage. The only thing Guy could appeal to is tastebuds, but murder robots don't eat.

And I have to agree with Torzelbaum. Calcifer wins by a hair.

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Sorry for being late. Calcifer wins unanimously. And the T-1000 wins by a wide margin.

Ronnie is eliminated.

Karnov Vs. Ultros

It’s the magical strongman vs. the tricky octopus. A battle that I have no doubt will be pretty wild. One isn’t deeply characterized beyond that he is good, strong and is not afraid to fight all sorts of baddies and monsters. But Ultros is constantly taking on teams of four all by himself, despite his tendency to flee. Which will come out of top and with will bit the 16 bit dust?

Can a teen with a time machine overcome a giant sea monster?

Purple

(She/Her)
While I'm sure having fireballs spit at him would prompt a nice "yaaaouch! Seafood soup!" Ultros is too much of a comedic foil to really ever kill, while Karnov drops in two hits... and I mean, Ultros has 8 arms to hit with. Possibly more?

Meanwhile...
Yeah, Marty is definitely screwed here. How'd he even get out far enough to have to worry about leviathans, I dunno, but, yeah.

Olli

(he/him)
Karnov is a beast of a man, but Ultros - while being something of a joke - is a real monster. Moreover, Ultros is smart, or at least very cunning, and while Karnov does know fireballs and some simple item-based puzzling, he has clearly spent more time at the gym than at the library. Ink spray in the face and the Octopus wins by a tentacle's length.

As for Marty vs Sea Monster, I think McFly will quickly decide that discretion is the better part of valor and skedaddle out of a fight he has no business being in. Ghost Leviathan wins.

Ultros is weak to fire. Advantage: Karnov.

Ghost Leviathan is an easy match for much more suitable vehicles.
