Comics Are Awesome! Great Moments in Sequential Storytelling (2020 - )

We all knew it was only a matter of time before this thread got resurrected - just like the heroes in my American comic books!

I've been reading Scooby Doo Team-Up! and you can tell the creative team had lots of fun with it. It's full of great moments like this one with Ace the Bat-Hound:

The series itself is lots of fun! It will have the Mystery Machine teaming up with The Legion in one issue, Atom Ant the next, then the Birds of Prey... Good stuff.

Ack, sorry. I meant “Mystery Inc.”

Unless...

*googles*
No “Scooby Doo/Transformers” team-up? We are living in the worst timeline.

Peklo

Oh! Create!
(they/them, she/her)
A page from Journal with Witch that can only be described as "Minecraft seduction."

Octopus Prime

Mysterious Contraption

That she is not my favourite New Mutant says a lot about how much I like some of the other members of the team

Find Your Reason
(He/Him)
It took me far too long to realize that THIS particular comic didn't have a right-to-left flow.

But more than anything it's blowing my mind at all the tiny visual details, like the multiple reaction signifiers in panel 4, that I had steadily grown accustomed to in manga and which I just absorb naturally now.

The comic doesn'tfflow as well because it was designed for a 3x2 grid instead of 2x3. The right panel order is 3,2,1,6,5,4 (although it also works as 1,2,3,4,6,5, nust not as well)
