No big (spider). We've been playing long enough now that I think we're all keeping track of progress in our heads with fewer map posts, but sometimes we'll miss something. For example, my entire round was spent in pursuit of an impossible goal!

Battle against Sleeper in South America: Star Vampires roll 3 dice:6, 4, 2 Star Vampires inflict 1 pain and 1 kill, stealing 1 power and 1 doom from Sleeper. Hastur rolls 7 dice: 5, 3, 3, 5, 6, 2, 5 Hastur inflicts 3 pains and 1 kill. I use Hastur's Vengeance ability to assign the 2 kills to the 2 Serpent Men, and assign the 4 pains to the 2 Cultists and 2 of the Moonbeasts. It's now Periodical's turn to roll. (Incidentally, when I started typing up this post, the wording for Hastur's Vengeance ability in the spreadsheet made me question whether it applies only to Hastur's dice, or to all dice Yellow Sign rolls while Hastur is present. In this BoardGameGeek thread, Arthur Petersen states that Vengeance applies to all the dice, not just Hastur's.) |

Sorry to hear that; hope you're feeling better!
I should mention that (unless I'm misremembering the rules) the attacker's units retreat before the defender's units after a battle, and I'm retreating to the North Atlantic and North Pacific. I also have units in the South Pacific at the moment, so it looks like the only valid retreat locations for the Sleeper units in South America are North America and South Atlantic. I apologize for any delays, but I've been almost entirely without internet for the past couple days, and the problem has just gotten fixed. I have a few higher-priority things I need to take care of at the moment, but I'll post my remaining action a little later tonight. Last edited by MrChris; 11-21-2014 at 06:02 PM.
