1. Dual-wielding handguns is an option
There are (I believe) exactly two player-usable handguns in the game. You can equip both of them at the same time.
2. There's not much ammunition around, however
I think there are two bullets you can find (aside from the ones you can get shot with)
3. Embrace failure
Failing skill checks is not necessarily a bad thing. Succeeding them is not always good.
4. Equip an idea
You can learn of ideas and start thinking about them to gain bonuses.
5. Depending on your build, psychic damage can be more dangerous than physical.
You have meters for physical and moral damage. Both depend on your stats.
6. The right clothes can make all the difference
Clothes can give you skill bonuses
7. Rare beasts
Cryptozoology is a big side quest.
8. Your sidekick is persistent, but it's not impossible to get some privacy
Your partner usually follows you around, but you can lose him by pretending to go to sleep.
9. Want a smoke? Just equip some cigarettes.
Smoking is cool, kids.
10. Need to break into a locked container? Your partner's car has a toolbox that can be helpful for that
They're not mandatory for anything, I think. Just some extra cash and gear.
11. Time passes when you talk, read or wait intentionally.
Walking around doesn't take time.
12. Many of the longest conversations in the game happen inside your head.
You talk to yourself a lot.

Purple

(She/Her)
1. There are an absurd number of other games in this series.
2. This one though was a radical departure from arguably the series' best-known feature.

3. While most of the series focuses on the multiplayer, this one has a surprisingly solid and novel single-player experience.

4. You know, that's not how we generally handle our data savin' 'round these parts.

5. To elaborate on that first point, we are doing this one minus those pluses.

6. I'm not sure why the protagonist was the model for the Bioshock 2 cover. Just one of those weird things.
