I realize that our Thunderdomes are traditionally music-focused, but I'm still going to toss in a nomination for Who Would Win in a Fight-dome. Arguing about Goku versus Darth Vader is why the Internet was invented!

Would that also include themes for wrestler characters from other games?

I mean, I would say yes. (E.G. Haggar's music from MvC3, etc.)

I would also say yes, though the only one of those I can think of is Abobo's Big Adventure, which I think just re-used NES music from Wrestlemania and Pro Wrestling, anyways.

I definitely have some ideas for non music thunderdomes. Movie trailers. Commercials. Fight scenes. And I really like this. But let me make a suggestion...

Let's have this be its own thing on the thunderdome/popularity contest thread. It is so different than the other kind of domes, I think people wouldn't mind it being its own thing. I feel there's more room for (friendly) debate and convincing people that even though the basic structure is the same, I would like to see this kind of thing be its own thing concurrent with the other events. Does anyone else agree? And I have some ideas for similar ones: racing. Arm wrestling. Simply more popular characters amongst similar themes. Is anyone else into this idea? If so, I think Mogri should get down to doing it immediately. It might need to get a different/variant name to separate it from the media-centric thunderdomes.

Also, no Saitama. Love the character but the basic premise is "only wins" and that makes it boring.

Sure, I'm not against it. My only reservation with doing it as its own thing is whether it will get traction.

BTW, as for Mogri's entry, I want to hear what you think: should it be part of a regular dome or should this kind of entry necessitate a new kind of concurrent activity. I'm happy either way but I can see lots more options for the latter.

Did we ever do a Town Theme-dome? I remember the idea came up, but I can't remember if we ever actually did it because at this point there's been 11,000-Domes, and eventually all the songs I like lose and then I tune out. If people think there's not enough material there, we could throw in Menu music too.

SHUMP only and fighting game only and beat em up only are good ideas too, but they're niche so I dunno if people would be into that

I thought Daikaiju's idea was for a DomeDome.

But would Thunder be eligible for that? I feel like that would be a bit too meta and maybe unfair for whoever didn't call it first.
