Peeps Peppermint Bark

The dipped peeps aren't bad by more than that, peppermint has a notable flavour. I actually like peeps but I always find their attempts at variety are too subtle. But mint flavours are hard to miss. So this seems like a good idea.

Pretz Chicken and Herb

Pretz was recently a plot point in my Eyeshield 21 re-read so... synchronicity.

So since it's the holidays, I think starting with Christmas I'll try one a day! That sounds like a treat for myself. Or maybe I'll just gobble them up tomorrow like a goddamned garbage monster.

Million Dollar Bar

Better than I suspected. I mean, it's just chocolate. That's it. But it's decent quality chocolate, which is more than I suspected. Weirdly, the chocolate itself doesn't look like a million dollar bill.

I assumed this was Extra Caffeine but I guess this is the no-sugar one.

Also just OK. I'm not sure I taste anything more than a subtle aftertaste from fruit colas.

Lay's Stax X-Tra Flamin' Hot

Curious how extra. Most of these are just pleasantly hot.

Spicy but little flavour that isn't "potato".

This is just frosting in a syringe. I ate it. Can't decide if that's great or terrible. Except it is really awkward.

I also forgot I also got an M&M chocolate figurine and...

That's clearly a good chocolate mold but it still came out looking horrific.

This was a bit weird. They were candies you crunch down on and they were really hard. So I was like "Oh, maybe you suck on them." But the outer shell actually didn't have much flavour.

Speaking of which, I'm not sure what the flavour was. I like them and they had a Sweetart like tartness. The fact that they are hard to chew makes me think this might be a bit on brand. They didn't taste like bland legumes, which they are supposed to, but I would imagine they might be hard to chew, perfect for our tough boys.

Gummy Sushi

I couldn't find chopsticks.
Also, I really appreciate this from a design standpoint. Like, it just taste like gummies but the whole set looks good. Even when you realize that the uramaki is just a gummi bear stuffed in a green apple ring.

I actually don't know what's in it but I love the mystery.

They were called +1 Cherry Potions and shaped like little potion bottles. Serviceable Candy.

The peppermint does help these stand out, even if they are lightly pepperminty.

It's just different colour junior mints. Still good, though.

Dairy Milk Caramello

It's basically just a Caramilk but it's a very nice Caramilk.

Boston Baked Beans

I wasn't prepared to like these but there's something nice and simple about these candy coated peanuts. And I'm not really a peanut guy. Still, very nice.

Bebeto Metergum Apple

Eh... It's just not very good gum.

Orange Crush drink mix

Not bad but needs to be mixed with an orange tonic water.

Pepsi Max Cherry

It's OK but it mostly tastes like a Pepsi. Maybe it's just me but the cherry taste is subtle.

Combos Cheddar Cheese

The most basic combo flavour. It's fine.

Kitkat Pops

The corn part is weird. Not bad, but weird. It's not like there are hunks of corn, just a conspicuous corn flavour.

Ah, those are the best ones... usually. I much prefer the peanut butter/chocolate ratio on the trees and pumpkins and whatnot.

But with white chocolate? That, I'm not so sure about.

Actually good. I'd prefer a milk chocolate or even a dark chocolate but I still love the orangey flavour in it.

Bleh. Last time I got one I was slowly sucking on it for months and not being happy. Last night I just gave up and crunched down. Still don't recommend beyond the fun look. Oh, and the blood is the packaging, not on the candy, if that is the real deal breaker.

I actually think this worked well as a shape. It felts slighting smoother than usual.

And that's it. Not a lot going on. It's subpar gum fragments in pink sugar stuff.

It's funny, I REALLY like pineapple but I tend to (slightly) bounce of pineapple flavoured candy and drinks. I rarely DISLIKE like it, but only have excitement for the real deal. Even then, it will never be as good as when I lived in Thailand. So tangy it made my tongue sore.

We always assumed that jug was filled with Kool-Aid but in vampire mode, I suspect it might be another red liquid.
